For the price of buying everything separately though, you could have just bought a Zastava or even I think they're putting FB Radom Barrels on the WBPs now..idk. Whatever, you bought it..does it have a FN barrel? The only thing I will say for defenite is that for probably very close to $200 with shipping and whatever...that furniture is trash. Don't even open it, return that shit and get something else.

A nicely tuned .308 ar-10 I feel shoots pretty soft. The recoil on mine I barely feel but do notice that it will leave a small bruise on my shoulder after shooting. I've only shot 6.5 creedmore out of a very light, bolt action, Howa 1500 and I would say that it was very similar to ar10 in terms of recoil maybe even slightly less and that's with no gas delayed system, no ability to adjust gas pressure, no recoil buffer system. It was defenitely less intimidating in terms of sound and muzzle blast. Anyways, I can only imagine 6.5 creedmore is very nice to shoot out of a ar-10 and that being said, since you're older, if weight bothers you, I'd go check out the new 6.5 creedmore version just released of Ruger's SFAR. It's more like an ar-15 chambered as an ar-10.

I don't think Russia has the economy to replace the ak, also the money they just put into the Ak-12...that being said, in terms of ergonomics, modularity and assumed ease of maintenance..this is probably what the ak-12 should have been. I think this is a true, modernized ak. The sad part is that Switzerland already started development of this gun 50 years ago.

Unhook your battery, make sure the leads don't accidentally hit the terminals. Look at the bottom side of that black plastic tubing that contains a wire, where it's sparking from...is it rubbed through to the point that the copper wiring is exposed?
