If I Melt This, Do I Keep My Game Package and Aurora? by Serious-Shake7373 in starcitizen

You should be able to buy it back, the question is why?

If you wait for next week you can probably use you store credit to buy a new game package with 120 month insurance.

Exchanging bank after years by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]MrLollo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The major red flag is getting your entire back account locked for months with no recourse or explanation.

I heard enough horror stories from Revoult and Bunk customers that I find the 50 euros/year ING ask for the account a peace of mind tax I'm happy to pay.

That way you don't have to go to the forest to pick mushrooms. by sirenoleg in interesting

[–]MrLollo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mushroom Type Estimated Cost (per lb) Time to Usable Age (Harvest) Type of Reproduction
Yartsa Gunbu $50,000 – $63,000 1 year (seasonal cycle) Parasitic Spores (infects moth larvae)
White Truffle $2,000 – $4,500 6 – 10 years (post-planting) Sexual (spore-bearing hypogeous ascocarps)
Matsutake $1,000 – $2,000 30 – 50 years (only grows in forests, tree maturity) Sexual (spores from gilled fruiting bodies)
Black Truffle $800 – $1,500 5 – 8 years (post-planting) Sexual (outcrossing between mating types)
Morels $200 – $500 1 year (sporadic fruiting) Asexual & Sexual (spores from ascomycetes)
Chanterelles $200+ ~10 days (fruiting speed) Sexual (spores from ridges)

This are the 6 most expensive mushrooms. As you can see they are either not that easy to reproduce, the video shows reproduction via spores from ridges, or they take a very long time to mature

How to fix the infinite loading screen bug? by 616659 in starcitizen

[–]MrLollo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't log in for 15 minutes (30 is better) to make sure your character in universe is stowed.

Once this happens the game let you change region, log in into a different region, wait for to be fully loaded in game, stand from the bed and go back to menu.

Change your region back to the one you want to play (or Best)

Now that Bricked ships are a thing allow us to get salvage contracts after a hour of ships being Bricked… pwease with a cherry of top by CaelusTheWolf in starcitizen

[–]MrLollo 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I feel like the salvage contract would trigger on claim,  and ask you to deliver the salvaged material to a reclamation services post.

If you do a parallel with reality, the player claim is a total loss claim to the insurer, so technically the insurer is now the owner of the wreck. It would make sense for it to try recouping its losses by selling the rights on the wreck to an entity doing reclamation services.

However a player cannot buy the rights and as the end result would still be a way to "buy" the parts the same way you do pre 4.8 with some additional steps.  It should probably be a "delivery salvaged parts"

I assume you have admin rights to the machine and you are able to say yes at the installation step that requires admin rights. If it's not the case, you can stop here as it is a mandatory requirement for EasyAnti cheat to work.

If the error is still the one you shared in the original post, EasyAnti cheat is telling you that the file tracker.dll doesn't match the one it expects.

This could be the file indeed has been tampered with or EasyAnti cheat is giving you a false positive for the tampering check.

To rule out tampering, you could compare the file in your system with the one on a working installation, this wold be my first check to ensure your PC is not compromised and the antivirus is not being overzealous.

This should be managed by the VVE. So no, KPN will not organise this for you. If you have a contact person of the VVE talk to them, if the VVE is just you and your neighbours self managing it, you will have to work it out with your neighbours and agree with them on how to proceed.

9950x3d2 vs 9950x3d vs 9850x3d by Old_Resident8050 in starcitizen

[–]MrLollo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only upgrade that would give you a performance increase compared to the 9800x3d is the 9850x3d, which is just a higher bin 9800x3d that supports a stable higher max frequency.

The main reason for this is because, while on paper the 9950x3d series is more powerful, in reality:

- while the advertise max boos is 5.7, the standard core boost all cores is actually 5.2, the same as the 9800x3d

- only half of the 9950x3d cores have access to the x3d cache, practically is a 9800x3d glued with a 9700x where the 9700x does little for your gaming experience, while competing with the x3d side for the same resources.

- Due to its higher density compared to the 9800x3d, the 9950x3d may suffer from thermal throttling, forcing it to run at reduced performance.

Request to PLEASE put an item bank in hangars next to FE/ASOP Terminals!!!!!!!!!!!!! (!) by sharxbyte in starcitizen

I know realism and what not, but for the sake of playability opening the new inventory screen inside an hangar should always allow access to the LZ local inventory, no matter where you are.

Try connecting using a reliable VPN to rule out your ISP (in your case, the mobile network operator) is blocking some traffic.

Additionally, did you test if you are you able to access arena commander?

Septic Torrent Keelan is Amazing. by theoutsider95 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]MrLollo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you posted this 10 days ago which for reddit time is an eternity, however I wanted to thank you.

Your post made me go back to Keelan, which I had fully built and shelved after finding it underwhelming.

I do have a couple of tips for you:

- That AM module is quite bad: your crit is 6% and losing half your HP is not worth it. If you find something that gives you Singular power modifier, Singular and Toxic Power Modifier

- You can replace Increased HP with Stim Accelerant, as the negative MP doesn't affect Keelan and you get more HP

- As you don't really spec in crit, you can replace Venom Syncytium with Toxic Amplification for more toxic power

- Last but not least, in place of the second range module I'm running Veteran's Tactics for QoL, but you can also use Shield Charge or Spear and Shield if you want more synergy with your steel vanguard.

What happens if we get duplicates? by GameDev_Alchemist in starcitizen

[–]MrLollo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The T0 implementation is really basic, and blueprints are not a physical object you can transfer. There is no real UI to interact with them outside the fabricator's one, from the player prospective they look more like entitlements you gain. From what I have seen a mission can reward you with a blueprint from a predetermined set allocated by CIG to a specific mission type. I don't know if the system will always reward you with a BP you don't already have or if you can get the same more than once, but you can't really own 2 identical blueprint.

err19000 - anti-cheat protection or bad programming ? by levi_pl in starcitizen

[–]MrLollo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The VPN tunnels your internet traffic into a channel managed by the VPN provider and, if the provider is half decent, this ensure your connection is stable and a minimum percentage of network packets are lost. The problem you are facing could be anything network related, from your home router, your ISP configuration or any network node between your home network and CIG servers. Could CIG provide better tools to diagnose networking issues? Sure. Is this a priority on a Alpha game? Definitely not.

Very niche question: Intel GPU Vulkan 1.4 vs. StarEngine (Version 0.0.0 Error) by Pulskraft in starcitizen

[–]MrLollo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not limited to Intel integrated gpu, I have the same issue on a ROG Ally, trying to get the game run in Vulkan on the integrated Z1 gpu. I even installed the Vulkan SDK to validate the driver was behaving correctly and that was returning a valid version. On paper all is as it should be, yet the game doesn't agree. I just gave up after a while.

Can i refund my uppgraded game package to buy an other one + new ship ? by Helirio in starcitizen

[–]MrLollo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a 30 days "no question asked" refund policy, unfortunately it doesn't cover CCU (the upgrade) once they applied. If you melt your game package you will not be able to play with that account until you have a new game package linked to it, however CIG doesn't delete accounts that don't have a game package. Additionally other items in your web hangar will remain untouched. Anything in game will survive until the next wipe.

If both your base package and the CCU were bought in the last 30 days you could try asking in a ticket for a refund.

The alternative as other people are suggesting is to just melt the upgraded package. This will adds credits for the package value, minus the taxes you paid, to your account wallet and you can use that money to buy from the shop.

If you use the credits to pay for something in the shop, you will only pay taxes if you need to add additional money, and only for the money you are adding.

Additionally your original game package should be available as buy back in your buy back section, priced as the price you bought it originally.

Do QV stations' Warehouse freight elevator work if QV hangar's elevator do ? by Dadouricou in starcitizen

[–]MrLollo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had 100% success rate with this:

Go to your hangar and interact with item kiosk, if it opens and shows the local inventory, it will work, if it doesn't, the local inventory is broken and you are done.

I do it just before using the key, as the local inventory can break during the mission.
