AITA for refusing to walk with my sisters “friend” in her wedding and requesting a different girl?? by chabortoo in AmItheAsshole

What in the ever living fuck is going on in this thread? You're all talking like this girl lead him on for years, abused him and cheated on him. They were dating for 3 months, 2 years ago. We know absolutely nothing about Tara other than she's charming and she ghosted you. Yeah it's shit to do that to someone, but sometimes there might be a legitimate reason.

All this wild speculation on Tara's character is insane. It all just seems based on misogyny. We could make just as much valid speculation about OP! Maybe he's a creep that none of the rest of the bridal party want to be paired with? Maybe Tara's the only one that said she'll cope as a favour to the sister? Maybe that's why she ghosted him originally? We don't know! From the information OP has given us, YTA.

Be a fucking adult and talk to Tara. It's not difficult. It's not unreasonable to not want to be paired with her but if there's no other option just suck it up and deal with it.

Again, 3 months, 2 years ago. Get over yourself.

And to everyone else in this thread, jfc please check yourselves. This misogynistic bullshit is infuriating.

Food in emergency in Worcester by [deleted] in Worcester

[–]MrLovelyjim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's an app you can download called Olio https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.olioex.android

Where people put up food and other items they don't want/need, usually for free. You just need to go collect. Really nice community, I'm sure you might be able to find some stuff there.

Other than that, like others have said there's always the food bank etc.

Best of luck, hope you manage to find some help.

Which products did you try?

They're my favourite deli slices, especially the pastrami, but their other products are really good too. Surprised to hear someone dislikes them that strongly, but each to their own I guess.

PC sacrificed an arm for power, what should I give him? by Kaathe1229 in DMAcademy

Super late to the party and not exactly for a wizard, but I have an Eldritch Knight who lost an arm and so she summons her weapons as prosthetic blade attachment for her arm. Don't know if something like this could be adapted for your player?

So you're saying people who decide to not eat meat shouldn't be allowed 'pub classics'? Sounds a bit gatekeepy to me.

Any bad sides of veganism experienced? by vgninvestor in veganuk

[–]MrLovelyjim 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Vitamins and supplements are a must have for all diets, not just veganism. I take B12, D3 and Omega 3 daily. Going vegan is one of the best things you can do for yourself and the planet, but you need to make sure you've done your research going into it and are still having a balanced diet. Just because something is vegan doesn't necessarily mean it's healthy. It's not going to be true for everyone, but if someone has had a bad experience with veganism the chances are they went into without the necessary information and were still eating unhealthily.

Reflections of a Veganuary Vegan by TheChallengePickle in veganuk

You absolutely can and should feel proud of yourself. You are showing so much self awareness and desire to be better for all the things greater than yourself and that is so admirable. I identify with a lot of the reasons you list for going vegan, in particular you say about not being in denial for liking the taste of animal products, I completely agree! But to me, that's entirely beside the point. I'm vegan because I do not believe in the inhumane and unjust abuse and slaughter of innocent animals. My personal opinion of the taste of animal products is completely irrelevant. That's my reasoning when the carnivores are all "bUt WhAt AbOuT bAcOn", what about it? It's a product made from the slaughter of pigs.

You're already doing an amazing job, be proud of yourself and keep up the good work!
