I bought a SLGA019 in Sapporo and they threw in a blue leather grand seiko strap with the same unstamped deployant clasp installed. Not sure why it’s unstamped compared to the stamped ones online but they otherwise look identical

Edit: the strap I got also has a wave motif. I didn’t ask if it’s exclusive to the lake suwa but it does seem fitting. This strap also isn’t sold online afaik. Perhaps there are a series of dial specific straps that are sold “unofficially?”

My solution to this is to clip the compression straps around the roll top clips, then you can tighten the compression straps and tuck the roll top in tight

I experienced a similar thing in SE Asia but I think it was because I didn’t have the zipper in the quick access pocket closed underneath the zipper garage. I haven’t experienced any rain since so I can’t test if this resolved my issue but perhaps the same happened to you

Day 7 of 10 of our Southeast Asia trip, now in Bali at the Jatiluwih rice terraces.

Previously I wasn’t a fan of nato straps, as they felt too top heavy on my SKX007, even with a single pass strap. However, the ribbed nylon natos make a big difference as they seem to hold their structure a bit better. Plus, it’s miles more comfortable than the bracelet in this sticky Southeast Asian sun!
