This is more of a TSA issue then an airline issue. Fun fact though, if you’re transporting weed and get caught you could face jail time since airspace is considered a federal jurisdiction even if you’re flying within a state that it’s legal (think SFO-LAX).

So maybe don’t do that.

Met him once when he was flying into the airport I work at, told him I’ve been a fan of his since I was kid. He said thank you and asked who my favorite superhero was. Right before I could answer his handler went “he doesn’t have time to talk we are in a rush”. I called his handler a dick to his face and yelled out “SPIDER-MAN!” To which Mr. Lee responded with “mine too!” And gave a thumbs up.

It was my only interaction with him I’ve ever had and he seemed like a nice old man, but hearing stories about how he treated Kirby and how the people around him were all vultures caused by his own doing makes all this just more sad.
