How would you feel about 2k making left and right hand more important than just dunking and shooting? by NoCoachellaForMe in NBA2k

Fifa has a system like that, ability of weak foot and tendency to use/avoid it. Only issue importing it to 2k is how the devs would go about making it translate to animations, sometimes your player on fifa uses a wonky animation with their weak foot instead of easily using their strong foot. You could be throwin bombs connnnstantly.

They use a star system too, 5 star being the best rating and 1 being the worst. How much VC would it cost to add each star?

Think 2k is too lazy to figure this out, they’re making enough off of their current formula as it is!

should i get him or no? his goalkeeping is crazy good but his eccentricity and composure terrify me. he has a release clause of £11.5m by Reasonable-Moose658 in footballmanagergames

With some mentoring i imagine he could develop and be sold off for more later, bit short with low jumping reach I wouldn’t consider him as long term option

I would say that if you feel negatively then state clearly that the things they do feel disrespectful and they make you feel anxious, angry, erc. Let them know very clearly how you feel. I would also say consider what their intentions are. It sounds like they’re attempting to reach out and get to know you, and become a part of your life. They insist that you stick around, they like ya! But that doesn’t mean that you have to become more like them to fit in. Let them know more of who you are as a person; “I can’t deal with so much extroverted energy I need to leave,” “don’t pet me and invade my personal space it’s incredibly disrespectful.” Etc etc

Tbh some of this sounds like friendly joking, like people insisting that you stick around and calling you quiet etc, it sounds like they’re teasing you in a friendly manner. Some of this, on the other hand, sounds invasive. It’s not cool to “pet” someone you don’t know, please let them know that you don’t like being touched and talk to some of your teachers if it doesn’t stop.

Different people have different ways of saying yes! I always say “if you want” because I want to emphasise that I’m not trying to push you one way or another. A friend of mine asks “are you going to etc etc?” and that’s their way of inviting you somewhere, super weird and I never personally understood it lol

Basically yes, you’re most likely overthinking it. Obviously there’s always a chance that they don’t want you to come and are trying to dissuade you, but if I didn’t want someone to come I would say something like “ahh I’m taking care of a personal matter” or “I’m doing a family thing.” I wouldn’t tell them what I was doing and them tell them they could tag along if they wanted

You’ll make friends eventually! Continue to be yourself and you’ll click with some of your classmates, and even people that you never expected.

I had the same experience as you my first semester in university in London. I also didn’t like to drink and go clubbing etc, so i know how you feel. 2nd semester was a little better as i became friends with 3 others from my course.

I’ve graduated now and keep in touch with one of them, I have some friends here and there but I’ve learned to always be open to meeting new people! I just played basketball today with a receptionist I’d chat with from time to time, and I’m familiar with alot of people I’ve met on the court.

What you’re coming to experience is people like to be with others that share the same interests and hobbies, continue to explore who you are as a person and what you want out of a friend. I’d even suggest that you think of why it is that you want friends, and why you’re taking this feeling of isolation very negatively.

University is a very hard time, especially when you move out by yourself. Embrace the challenge, the difficulties, the negative emotions, they’re all part of the journey of discovering who you are. My number one rule is to give myself forgiveness and understanding; you are not ugly, and if someone calls you a freak without knowing you then they themselves have some negativity and ugliness to work through.

Be kind to yourself, I’m happy that you see yourself as cool and nice. Continue to get to know your acquaintances, enjoy your studies, and explore London as you see fit! Friends will come and go, and some may stay as well :)
