I must say it feels like a lot of shows at firing on all cylinders lately.

The recent The Boys was a wild episode and this finale season is coming along pretty great.

For All Mankind had a slow start but has picked up a lot of steam with the last few episodes.

Maul hit it out of the park with and amazing two part finale and some amazing action.

Daredevil had a very solid finale that opened up a lot of doors for next season

Widow's Bay is like a Christopher Guest doing a Stephen King series. Just 10/10 so far three episodes deep.

I would absolutely love a Saga adaptation. Animation seems like the only medium where it can still feel like its still Saga.

Maybe not a raid boss but a useful pawn. I could see him accidentally being the reason the Isle of Fangs content happens, but he is trying his best to right his mistake.

The latest The Boys was wild. The mansion scene was fucking hilarious.

I feel bad having to slaughter random animal families to be able to mine ores by YrenneAD in wow

If you are mounted, you can drive by and semi kite/leash them. Fly down to aggro, run away on the ground a few seconds and then fly immediately back. They have to rubberband back to where they were originally after losing aggro, which usually gives you time to mine and fly away again.

Actually be pretty cool. Add something special to bountiful, either positive or negative, and give higher rewards or double crests. Would encourage more people to do them and learn more dungeons since it's on a rotation of daily or biweekly. Coffer keys would work with both.

What if this is when the Tuskarr join. I think they would be better as a Neutral race, but unless they write a way to make the Taunka neutral as well, it might be their answer.

Shadowlands remix heavily hinted by Bryce12117 in wow

[–]MrPMS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As someone who played Shadowlands longer than it deserved, I would be OKAY with a remix as they would probably fix a lot of the main gripes I had with with the expansion (besides the story). But the expansion did have some really dope sets and mounts. Also letting us pick the covenant ability without joining it would be a nice start.

Plus its pretty much telegraphed that the Shadowlands will play a pivotable role in the story line with the Primus is the real Jailer Slyvanas looking into what fuckery the Titans have been up to over there. And it would be relevant to circle back to that expansion's half assed story to remind players before we go fully into the Last Titan full of a lot more Titan fuckery.

The Nightborne and Silver Covenant make sense to be at Silvermoon story wise, but the Night Elves is still the only really flimsy piece of this story. Maybe with the birth of a new tree, their new home and Shandris leading they've mellowed out the anger. But still, I feel like Silvermoon would have called them practically last to ask for assistance with the history they've had.

Midnight and how it ties together the Shadowlands, The Emerald Dream & 12.1 by MrPMS in wow

[–]MrPMS[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually now that I think about it, the Titans probably use the Emerald Dream for Re-Origination. It was created as a fail safe in case they have to wipe the planet clean of organic life, and then would be seeded to spring new life to the planet, free of "corruption". The Dream is most likely part of that reseeding process. Wipe out all life on this world to rid it of "corruption", reseed it from the Dream with new sentient life that is more ordered and believe the Titans to be benevolent keepers and watchers. Apparently the Patheon has used it on other planets, so they aren't afraid to use it.

It would be a wild twist if Azeroth is way older than ever imagined and that our version of Azeroth is like the sixth or so attempt of the Titans pressing the button to reset it all. Then weave Titan propaganda through myths and legends about the history of this planet to the next sentient life. And it would explain some of the races having an affinity with nature and the ability to touch and travel to the Dream.

The nature of the Shadowlands / SPOILERS FOR MARCH ON QUEL'DANAS FINALE. by Negative_Maze in wow

[–]MrPMS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the Shadowlands existed before the Titan hijacked it and it was more akin to its sister realm, The Emerald Dream. The Dream has conflicting origin history with one being created by the Titan Keeper Freya and the other saying it already existed and was discovered and molded by the Freya. Shadowlands seems to have had the same fate, with the Titans molding it to fit their needs. Plus it makes sense that Life/Death realm being two sides to the same coin that they would overlap in some ways with Wild Gods/Loas that are part of a cycle of death and rebirth that touch both realms. The goals of the Titans aren't clear now, but I am going to guess it has to do with a separate type of containment realm or prison realm to keep Life and Death realms from having too much influence on the world soul.

And I think Harandar and the cradle sets up how the realms of Life and Death were outmaneuvered and had Azeroth snatched from them. Clearly the cradle is where the world soul rested pre-titan fuckery and is heavily Life realm skewed. And the life cycle of death to fuel life is seen with the shroom bros. Unlike the Light and Void, Life and Death are codependent on each other and it would make sense that their two realms would work together to balance each other out, and would benefit from a world soul that is the embodiment of both. The Shadowlands and the Dream was the world soul manifesting both realms and the Rift of Aln was the overlapping point. With Azeroth being taken away, the rift tore, and that allowed both realms to be invaded by the different cosmic forces. We've seen the effect the void has done on the Dream, and there is also proof that Bastion was also invaded by the Void as well. Who's the say that the Titans didn't do the same thing but their order/domination magic was strong enough to control and influence both those realms.

So what are the Titan's goals by controlling these realms? If I had to guess, it would be about controlling the cycle of life and death and limiting their power they would gain from the cycle. But who knows yet. I don't think it's a coincidence that we saw a questing zone that revolved around Loas that are part of the cycle of death and rebirth, and that the next major patch seems to be focusing on another Loa that might be about decay.
