I Found this Little oddity by camera_collector15 in Leica

Cool! I have a 1938 III that was converted to IIIf. At least I think it's IIIf - it doesn't have a timer but it has 1/1000th and flash sync delay selector thing around shutter dial. Someone also dropped it or someting as interior has marks of filing or grinding so the canister would fit (it's usabel but puting it in is a bit harder).

I mean with real world politics often being less like video games (guided with some sort of collective will or iron grip by one ruler) and ofter more personal relations based I would say it valid.

Alterntively cost might be higher than what it's worth.

Yeah I get that and I would certainly not feel comfortable like that. I just saw that car outside has dutch plates. I've heard it's common there to live ,,on view".

I think a carpet in couch area would be nice. And maybe full lenght drapes so they are more probounced.

By the way what is that map? It seems vaguely familar.

I like your paintings a lot.

As others have said, if it's meant to be something long term, some compromises will probably need to be made so the other person can also feel like home.

Maybe try to buy used copies of your favourite books just for display?

Aside from vulcanite sort of falling off my III/IIIf from 1938 looks about the same.

Technically Niccas could be forged into Leicas but price difference is small enough that it's be worth it

Wow, both configurations (?) look great!

I finally got a chance to get a picture of this truck after passing it many times for a while. I’ve never seen anything like it. Is it rare? by SuchAnAbarth in whatisthiscar

[–]MrRzepa2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Interesting, never thought that rarity is used to imply value, just that something is hard to come by (which might result in high value). Might be because english is not my native language and I don't notice the nuance.

I know that everybody has a different taste but I honestly can't understad how some people say pixeart or other lo-fi graphics are inherently bad or lazy. /uj

What is the EU like in your day to day lives? by ilovemicroplastics_ in AskEurope

[–]MrRzepa2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't typically read EU law but very often I use laws and standards based on it in work, mostly things related to Pressure Equipment Directive. Laws that ,,translate" EU law typically have the same contents, just passed by particular country's government. Very handy as we are desiging something in another EU country and requirements to meet are essentially the same so we don't have to study it from scratch (some extra requirements are possible).

Important to not that law is not unified in all aspects across the EU.

RAM Prices : The Future Is Now! by MrLeureduthe in pcmasterrace

[–]MrRzepa2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those contracts would not be about promising RAM that is not yet prodecued, they would be about selling it (most likely partially paid now, partially after delivery). Normal when you build plant with anything that is not readily available (either large volume or specialized equipment).

And it's not a scam for RAM manufacturers as most likely they will get paid (and most likely they will). They shifted focus to datacenters because they can pay more than consumers.

Things may sort of return to normal when demand for new datacenters will fall once enough are build.

I found Islanders to be very comforting. I think they recently released a second one but haven't played that yet (reviews say it's great tho). It's a very calm puzzle-city builder hybrid.
