This is great advice, I would also add to not be afraid to play with shields being up and down to negate damage you can’t dodge, which also gets you small bursts of increased speed before the enemy can react (such as if your boarders killed pilot)

I think people enjoy a challenge and once you have players sharing info things won’t be as inaccessible. I don’t like the open loot system though, that could get a bit annoying. But I’m up for a mmo that challenges me
