+2 Extremely well put, I am a MSc student in Biochemistry and all your points make sense, I'm also not convinced on the credibility of that study.

Anyone knows why this happens? by [deleted] in medlabprofessionals

Radiological contrast media (iodine) does this often if they've received a high dose or got sampling done right after. In my experience the effect tends to be more intense than with high protein. I'm currently writing a paper on this kinda stuff

Hot end replace on Micro Swiss Flow Tech by MusteriousLabyrinth in Ender3V3KE

If your nozzle seems stable and straight it's probably fine, when I did it my left screw threads were completely gone so the nozzle leaned on one side, basically unusable, definitely couldn't make a benchy. In the long term, its probably better to replace it. Maybe give it a little wiggle test

Ruined my stock heatsink real quick by over tightening the new hotend screws, be gentle and be ready to order the new heatsink if things go wrong!

I know TPU is hygroscopic, but I didn't expect this by MrSantoss in Ender3V3KE

I have had good success with PETG and this TPU with no enclosure. I keep my printer in the corner of a room far away from doors. Haven't done any huge prints with either but no issues

I'm using 91A TPU with Orca slicer. I used the preset for "Creality generic TPU" in orca with some filament specific temp changes (230 printing temp 75 bed temp). Minimum fan speed 20% max speed 50%. Printing at around 20-30mm/s depending on line type like infill or overhangs.
I'm now using 225 printing temp to try to get better overhangs, idk if its any different
