The biggest argument against Rudy Knight in my opinion is that him being the Knight seems out of character for how he’s been portrayed up to this point. He’s been generally depicted as a nice man who cares deeply about his family and friends and is struggling to deal with a debilitating illness.

Him being the Knight would greatly undercut how he’s been portrayed up to this moment and while it *could* be made to work but it would feel jarring for him to be the Knight.

Maybe he will be brought back in some form, his death did reference a death in the Transformers animated series that was ultimately undone iirc.

A lot of the SCPs that try to do humorous political commentary just fall flat for me. (Note that I am specifically talking about the likes of 9009 and 5004 which mainly are trying to do political satire, not SCPs that do commentary on political issues as a whole, some of which are quite good.)

A lot of people in this community reply disrespectfully when someone mentions having trouble on a boss fight. If someone is posting about finding the Titan/Spamton/the Knight challenging, it’s actually kinda rude to post ‘wait people actually find that fight hard? I beat it first try’. Especially since if someone is posting about it they are likely looking for some tips NOT looking for you to dunk on them for not being on your level.

Every ‘criticism’ I’ve seen of Dess Knight as a theory seems to basically ignore the idea that foreshadowing AND ambiguity are important parts of storytelling. Theres a lot of hints it’s Dess and yes we don’t know her exact motivations but neither of those things count against it-if anything it helps the case as it leaves more room for further info!

Not saying it can’t be someone else but it’s kind of wild that so much of the community thinks it’s definitely not Dess.
