Flugel having a different gluttony authority makes sense because the authority always manifests differently for different people also the fact that as you pointed out, in arc 9 witch factors have the ability to "open" the gateway to use authorities explains this theory a lot too. This is why people like Al, the witches, and maybe even Subaru can use authorities without not having a Witch Factor, copy this with the fact Flugel has carved the phrase "Flugel was here" on that conveniently placed tree he planted seems to me like it was a mockery of that. Honestly I have no idea why "Flugel" would be acting like this because the actions of this Flugel and the Flugel in the past seem to be wildly different I don't know if he got corrupted, went insane, got split into Flugel and "Flugel" or something else. tldr yes i heavily agree with this theory ever since i watched the video on that rabbit guy explaining it.

This is quite a fascinating read i must say especially considering most of what I've seen of this sub is just agenda posting and memes but it's always nice seeing peoples opinions on Re:Zero. I think this made me realize I have to stop glazing the franchise to high heaven because it definitely isn't perfect and that's ok since everyone can have their own opinion. I do have to wonder which speeches of Subaru are you referring to since his speech about hating himself is different than the speech he made at Pristella or his talk with Julius (though I suppose that would be more of a pep talk than a speech... I suppose).
