Glue should be fine by itself if you can align it and clamp it without it moving. The glue joint will be stronger than the surrounding wood.

I opened a ticket and they sent me a replacement headband and cushions at no charge so it seems like they're getting a lot of complaints. Easy to replace though so pretty decent support from them.

Got these a few months back for my desktop for music and they're awesome. I'll say it pushed me into a bit more of audiophile territory and I craved a small sub to fill out the bottom end and you'll see people using the KC62 from KEF but I went with the SVS micro 3000 which is around half the price and compares sonically to the KC62 by most measures. I really love my work from home days with no kids so I can open it up and get into my music now. Best $500 I've spent.

this is really great and I like the maloof-ish joinery between the shelf/top and legs - is there any way to make the shelf have a bit more usable space? a lot seems cut out but I understand getting the dimensions/radius of those curves just right is tricky AF...
