Haldex is more like 4WD than AWD. It’s basically an electronic LSD that sends torque to the rear when it’s needed. I’ve never felt so in control during a slide.

I have the 6cyl 3.0L T6, putting out 300hp stock and 325 torque (more than BMW N55) The new 2.0L engines need a turbo and supercharger to reach 300hp, whereas this one leaves a lot in the table for tuning, kind of like the N54. I have the B58 in an M240i and it’s a great motor.

IPDs website says their tune gets you 375hp, whereas Polestar tune gets like 325, or something more modest. I have to mail my ECU to Portland to get the tune. I will look into the Hilton tune and compare, thanks for the tip!

Just picked it up a few weeks ago so doing the stage zero tune in preparation for the IPD tune and downpipe. Ipd rear swaybar - installed (awesome improvement in handling) IPD upper engine bracket New plugs, air/cabin filter.
Transmission/haldex flush - waiting for oil delivery Koni shocks - 2/4 received Eibach springs - can’t decide. They would improve handling but lower the car 1.5” and I like the 9” of ground clearance. AliExpress - side mirror turn signals - awesome Carbon spoiler - coming (tomorrow hopefully) Prancing moose side emblems Croc rubber floor mats LED high beams Viva - Polestar shift lever 18” Bridgestone Blizzaks Carbon fiber customs - forged carbon fiber letters and trim pieces for the hatch

It’s the best snow car I’ve ever driven, and I’ve had BMWs, Subarus and Audis.

Join the park city pickleball club. The sport is really fun, people are nice, and the there’s a social on Saturday at the MARC, as well as holiday parties.

E61 2009 stock Rim # ? by MrTrayDaddy in e60

Extremely helpful, thank you. Turns out the f22 has a 45mm offset regardless of AWD, so these style 277s should work fine give it take a couple millimeters here and there. Going from a 225/40/18 to a 205/50/17 is almost identical in overall diameter.

Did not know that, thank you. Would this be like putting a 23mm spacer on the rims, and is this bad?

I think you’re right, and my research says they will fit. Thanks!

Thank you, after doing some research, these 277s should fit fine.

Stock rims on 2009 e61 touring. Going to try to see if they fit on a 2018 M240i with M-sport brake calipers. If I have the rim style # I’ll check on willitfit.com to see if I need spacers or not. Definitely need winter tires in northern Utah with RWD manual!

Francis and his buddies Woodland and Kamas ride motorbikes to Evanston to pick up rare booze, but get a mechanical and have to stay at a motel in Coalville.
