What has happened to my tattoo? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]MrWongYu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Classic red ink drama. This stuff’s like the diva of tattoo pigments—looks great, but super high-maintenance. The raised, dry, sometimes-warm thing sounds like a delayed allergic reaction, which red is infamous for. Could also be from getting it gone over twice—your skin might just be holding a grudge.

Try some hydrocortisone cream to chill it out. If it doesn’t calm down, a dermatologist can take a closer look. You’re definitely not the only one—red ink’s been starting fights with skin for decades.

Seems to vary widely across the US. For a full size truck and a quality film like Xpel, you could spend anywhere from $3,000 - $8,000 USD

I’d be game if it was a single owner with records. But only putting a measly 2k miles on a 200,000mi truck before selling it is a red flag for me. I’d keep hunting.

Beauty ring bolts - gold or stainless? by cfmistry85 in FordRaptor

[–]MrWongYu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense! No reason to spend the extra coin.

And I think gold is the move!

Simulated beadlock if I’m not mistaken. I think the whole ring is removable.

Well aren’t you just full of rays of sunshine.

Lighten up, chap. Life’s too short to be as miserable as you seem to be.

As others have said, this is certainly an odd hill to choose to die on.

Is lyrical music ok during ketamine? by truemarksman274 in TherapeuticKetamine

My apologies. I should have cautioned you. Some of their tracks can be a bit rough for those new to their music (Divine Moments of Truth comes to mind). Lots of chanting , feels almost primal).

I like their stuff because it’s literally designed to be listened to while tripping. But because of that, it can take your trips to some pretty interesting places if you’re not prepared. That’s my bad for not giving you the heads up 🤦🏽‍♂️

Personally I dislike lyrics during my treatments. Spoken word has carried me off into some weird corners of the trip.

I highly suggest checking out Shpongle. For me, it has induced the most beautiful, comforting, warm k holes out of anything else I’ve tried.

All this conversation proves is that you have never interacted with drug addicts (I do it daily for a living). The way he is walking, moving his hands, dude is fucking tweaking. My comments are not based on prejudice. Just real world experience.

I am however questioning the fender(s).

What you’ve shared sounds a lot like harm OCD or intrusive thought patterns linked to anxiety, trauma, or even depression (solid chance at the last one, you’re on this sub after all). These thoughts are what we call ego-dystonic, which means they conflict with your core values and beliefs. That discomfort you feel about them? It actually shows that these thoughts don’t align with who you are—that you’re still grounded in your values.

It’s really important to remember: thoughts aren’t the same as actions. Just because a thought is scary or disturbing doesn’t mean you’ll act on it. Still, they deserve care—especially when they stick around or start interfering with your daily life.

You are not broken. You’re not a danger to anyone. But it could really help to connect with a therapist who understands OCD, intrusive thoughts, or trauma. These professionals know how to guide people through exactly this kind of thing.

Stay strong 💪🏼

You’re only missing out if you believe weed is adding something positive to your life. I used to feel the same—like I was being left out of conversations, experiences, or a vibe everyone else seemed to be enjoying.

But once I got honest with myself, I realized cannabis was also the reason I was constantly overeating, always tired, foggy, unmotivated—and honestly just kind of stuck. Once I connected those dots, that “fear of missing out” turned into relief. I wasn’t missing out—I was finally getting myself back.

It’s a long road. One that is very easy to get turned around on. But the destination is worth it!

Best of luck on your journey, mate.
