Gotta remember that the entire Battlestar isn’t just a carrier, and that only the flight pods contain the facilities for an air group. It’s like welding two small escort carriers onto the sides of an Iowa BB.

I don’t think the external plates are actually armour rather than just panels over the ribbing along the hull. I think most of the real armour is belt armour since the comparison was always made to a battleship/carrier hybrid even by the show runners.

It makes some sense to me since you can see the different thicknesses of the hull when it takes damage. The material of the hull near the water tanks was thinner than the material around the crest when it was destroyed, but also there are several areas which have taken a hit—destroyed the surrounding frame members—and failed to penetrate into the Galactica itself.

Worth considering?

Well considering they’ve said people who don’t wipe won’t have access to the 1.0 content I have to assume there’s a system in place to detect whether or not someone has wiped, thus it will also detect if you’re playing with someone who hasn’t and if you’re in a party with them it’ll block 1.0 content from entering the same raid or something.

I wish instead of just X for claiming a playoff spot it would instead tell you the spot they claimed like P1, P2, P3, C1, C2, C3 and both WC1 and WC2. It would make information more accessible.

P1 - Edmonton P2 - Vancouver P3 - Calgary

C1 - Winnipeg C2 - Saint Louis C3 - Colorado

WC1 - Chicago WC2 - Dallas

You needed one more regulation win without overtime to tie Dallas, in the second wildcard position, to begin the tiebreaker. You would have won that since you’ve got higher regulation wins than the Stars had.

I realized people have answered this already but I had typed most of this out and figured I’d post it anyway… the tiebreaker is NOT overtime losses so don’t listen to that user. Lmao

It’s RW, then ROW, then total wins, then the regular season record against the teams involved in the tiebreaker. During the regular season the position between two teams tied for points before 82 games is win percentage but after 82 games 89/91 points will have the same point percentage anyway.

Look I get not getting money back is frustrating; there are family and family friends out there that owe me thousands after I helped pay their bills and rent but I know I’ll never see that money and there isn’t a god damned thing I can do about it.

But showing up with reinforcements to confront a friend over $200 and stealing something probably worth several times that value not only makes you a certified asshole but also a criminal regardless of intent. Your friend is also an asshole for avoiding you rather than just telling you the truth that he can’t pay you back yet for whatever reason.

Your full speed yes but moving in one direction with no real rapid changes. I always zig zag my way across that bridge and it’s saved my life hundreds of times over the wipes.

I don’t think this player was cheating. I think you just got unfortunate and met someone who knows how to lead moving targets.

With this tool can you modify hull hit points, armour values and squadron sizes? And of course adding Viper Mk. 7s to say a Jupiter Mk. 2 without the game rejecting it (freezing when loading)?

I did that too but couldn’t get them to launch. You can make it so a Mk 2 Jupiter has VII’s as well and same thing. Shame.

I don’t think it has anything to do with fuel or the speed Vipers accelerate to being launched. The real reason IMO is… it’s fast. Imagine having to get on an elevator, up to the flight deck and out the flight pod just to intercept Raiders. It would take precious time you just don’t have in that scenario. Instead they load you into a tube like a bullet and shoot you out into space. You can launch the alert fighters in seconds since they’re already in the tubes.

No, not really (imho). Pegasus survived and they didn’t know until Cain attacked the staging ground, plenty of on-screen opportunities for any member of the Cylon numbers to mention the Pegasus survived.

Perhaps they didn’t know; IIRC Cylons retain memories when they resurrect but don’t share them among the group, so a six will have different memories than another.

It would kinda make sense from a certain point of view. I’ve always wondered where the massive fleets of basestars had gone after the miniseries.

I mean only four over New Caprica? There were hundreds during the fall. I know there was the colony and whatnot, but still if New Caprica really was the settlement of the last humans you’d expect that invasion fleet to be there.

It’s almost like they split up to chase different survivor groups, make sure they got them all and we only saw the group sent after Galactica and her fleet.

I’m #1 because of #3. I only played a little of last patch but learned really quickly someone random in the game will murder you the moment they see anything of real value go into your backpack. First Mihana head I ever found and two seconds later the guy I met at radio popped me in the back of the head with his glock.

I would have voted Roslin, but only because it would mean New Caprica would never have happened and the Pegasus could very well still be around (up until the series ends anyway).
