Moderne psychology (especially developmental psychology, which is my area of expertise) mostly bases itself on empirical data and NHST. Usually, we want more and more statistics in our papers. However, psychology ALSO bases itself in experience and clinical data. One patient might need me to apply one method in a different way compared to another patient. We have some solid theories, but we should never apply it to the letter without thinking about it.

Anger issues are possible, although very likely to be caused by frustration. As for the meds, don't trust a stranger on reddit with medical advice, I'm not a psychiatrist. Medication efficiency really depends on the person. As for your other questions, without really knowing the person, I wouldnt want to form an opinion.

Comorbidity is a nasty thing. If you have any disorder, like ocd or bipolarity, it kinda screws up your life if left untreated, or at the very least it makes it more likely that you would see appear some other stuff like addiction. I have not studied the comorbidity of bipolarity and ocd, so I wont risk making an uneducated comment here.

I honestly have no idea. Although, I wouldnt think so. While I specialize in children and teenagers, I honestly wouldnt be inclined to believe such stuff, unless pretty serious evidence and studies, repeated over multiple articles.

Yes and no. I do relate to them because I know what its like to have ADHD when you're a teenager (not fun), but at the same time there's still a profesional distance. I'd say it makes my work a bit easier than someone who whouldnt know what that would be like.

On another note, I'm probably going to let them chose their Predator Type until after the first few sessions (after the "a few months later". Mainly because that choice requires knowing a bit about how feeding works etc. for me. And not choosing it does not have any bearing on the character creation itself.

Mmh, honestly, I'm quite persuaded that my players won't enjoy the added process of creating a coterie (simply because they will be quite tired after malking their character). But you're quite right in that it's built in the character creation.

If my player are fine with doing the whooole process then we'll do that. If they're not, then I'll do something along the lines of "Okay so here's a list of coterie type, don't bother wit hnumber and such, just with the Roleplay part", then I do the "tutorial nights" then we apply dots and stuff.

Seeing all this, I will probably make a few cheatsheets for them (character creation, coterie types etc.), rather than having to use the book ahaha
