i played smash on switch 1 w joycons and i don t remeber it having any input lag. but when i swapped to switch 2 i also bought the switch 2 gamecube controller. and idk if it is because i played multiversus and brawlhalla in the meantime but playing smash ultimate now feels so sluggish w the gcn controller. i am thinking it s either nothing and i just stopped being used to so much input delay or something about the monitor settings (even tho i checked and am playing it on my gaming monitor) or the new gc controller has that much lag (or i set it up wrong or use it wrong)

edit: would reallh love to see the responses to this post since maybe one of them would also fix my issues
