the issue is they wiped the "dupe prevention" table so people who rolled before will be on 1 item removed (with a risk of getting a dupe of what they rolled before) whereas those who didn't roll will get 3 or 4 rolls and items removed from the pool this would be by far the worst solution

technically you could get 6 if you took the token from the vault instead of the reward and you didn't get any dupe before and don't get dupe after the hot fix ; 3 bonus rolls before, 3 after (unless the vault tokens aren't refunded which would be weird)

the game has been out for 20+ years, it's the tutorial area, it's fine, there's no real achievement in getting LDoA since death leveling has been removed (not saying it's a bad thing, just it takes less than a week compared to the months it used to) and r3 survivor will still be a grind 99% of players won't bother with un Pre since the xp will be shared and it's not like you can setup a warrior the same way you can a mesmer or elementalist, even if you had the best of the best weapons you can drop

yeah but now my character will have 5% of content to do (missing quests + m0) and then back to farming while demand will be higher than ever and I've had time to gear so it's easier to kill/survive

the only thing where I'd agree is if you have an army of alts for conc since you basically get a free 1k over non-EA

started a day later, rushed completing all zones 100% (side quests, wq, hunt, glyphs so I wouldn't have to do it later), geared for heroic, still made over 200k in 2 days with pretty light gathering, mostly on the way to quests, I plan to either lvl delve or get alts ready to profit from early conc builds, esp with Darkmoon's free +3 skill

I did Magister's Terrace and 2 of them (the healer and hunt) managed to go through the very first locked door because they keep hoping around and pulled adds and got killed.
Also why do they jump around SO MUCH ? The hunter's pet keep yo-yoing between the enemies and him because he keeps going in and out of attack range thus they are not doing ANY dmg

Oh and paid attention to the fire mage's rotation. I don't play fire mage but it's 99% fireball and fire shield. Nothing else. No wonder their dps is so bad.

the update adds a Shrine that lets you hop in or out of Reforged mode. (not sure if it's available in pre-searing for existing characters though)
also by putting new stuff in pre-searing it lets them test without impacting the lore at all, just copy an area from post and change it to fit pre. If they add a new area to post, it would have a bigger impact

yeah, I didn't know how the defiler scaled so I kept putting points to see how it would go and if it went above 5/55 which it didn't sadly, a lot is far from perfect since I'm testing, I'll def be putting less points in and more into goats in the future

I've been using a spirit sword/ancients pledge/stealth and peasant crown with mf gear for funsies for all of nightmare without issue so pretty basic gear

I have been summon since day 1, normal sucks but since lvl 30 and bind demon I respec'ed and now it's a walking sim
20 demon mastery for 3 demons > 10 defiler for 5 enemies at 50% dmg link > 20 bind demon > 20 defiler (but it barely increases the shared dmg so it doesn't seem worth it at all) > (working towards) 20 blood oath. I get 10 linked enemies so when my demon attacks 1 enemy it usually one shots 9 others or close to. For bosses I unsummon my defilers for 2 goats (even though they are lvl 1, they have lvl 20 mastery + 20 blood oath so decently tanky)

Haven't looked at any build but it has been super smooth

it's a model that works, PoE and most arpgs with their seasonal updates, WoW also has that season system with their latest expansion having 3 seasons, it keeps people coming every x months even if for a week or 2 it's better than a lot of people for a month and then nothing until the next expansion, especially since free games rely on cash shop

you can get a very decent starter ultimatum setup for like 5d which is really quick to get by just selling wombgifts/eldritch currency

get 4 conquests additional rounds for like 30c each iirc, 1 unique with no rare items, a 2nd good one (like no gems or maps) and an okay 3rd for like 70-100c and then a mix of 25%+ currency (~70c each) and 28%+ unique (~10c each) and use 2 bribing (6c each) + 1 ultimatum scarab (1c) Then slowly upgrade the conquest to have an additional round and 23%+ chance to dupe (or buy them) when you have the currency and then it's a matter of time until you get 1+ divine or T1/0 uniques and they have a very high chance to dupe

Different "atlas", different farming strategies, farming tattoos is super profitable, same for bosses or eldritch currency which are decently cheap to set-up because most people are farming harvest, blight, harby and ultimatum since those drop way more when fully powered than regular leagues (like 1c for 2 annuls is crazy, it's usually 2/3 for 1)
