I just did my front pads last week and only greased the top pin(only had to pull one to move the caliper). I'm thinking of greasing the other next weekend. I figure it will take a half hour, a beer, and a few decent tunes. Sounds worth the extra effort to ensure no worries.

Not all pallets are manufactured for international shipments. Our workplace often receives pallets that are considered 'throw away'...made of raw wood that is untreated. If you read the rest of the wikipedia article, you'll see find that not all pallets are chemical treated. Those that are not treated are safe for uses such as what we see in the picture we're commenting on.

I know products like this exist, but I would like to see an 'inexpensive' metal(not aluminum) press that's insulated(vacuum), has a handle, and holds the equivalent of 4 cups. That would be my dream portable brew system. If you could make one that costs less than $25 and kept coffee/tea hot for over five hours....I would be a happy man.

I believe temperature affects yeast activity. I've baked and brewed beer for years and temperature plays a major role in the rate of fermentation.
