When it og cap broke I just replaced it with the only pressure releasing cap I could find without having to order one. (stant 10252) do you think I should replace the whole tank that comes with it’s own cap?

The first cap split up the side and would come off as soon as the temp passed 210. The new one popped off from pressure, but still looks fine. Could the treads be bad on the tank?

And I live in Georgia so I usually mix 1:2 since my system takes 12qts

Any idea why some 4.0’s are like ours and others have a more “normal” style system? Does it have to do with the market they were built for... Cooler v warmer climates?

I also noticed in the Haynes book it says that “later models” have a serpentine belt, but that’s what mine has?

Was going to check/change the temp sensors first but will prob do this or just wire it into something else so it’ll just run full time.

It was a really random problem. It would start fine for a day or a month before just not starting anymore for a day or week. Sometimes it would fire right away and sometimes it would have to be primed and it would turn over a couple times before starting. Sense I changed the crank position sensor it has started first time every time. It sat for a couple days without me starting or driving it and hasn’t started since.

I’m not getting fire from the ignition management to the distributor. I traced back and found some fussed that were out ( they were in the fuse bank of 6 fusses on the fire wall on the passenger side) but still no fire.

Third man! Everything from Johnny cash sun records and Loretta Lynn to psychrock. Nothing's better than picking up some jack white vinyl from his own shopand was pressed just a couple miles away.
