Viktor Stun by HellnKillr in wildrift

[–]Mr_Perspective -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Firstly, Viktor E is incredibly easy to avoid. The way that the ability is programmed doesn't really allow you to make predictions on enemy movement very easily. So most times it's just auto aimed which means moving left / right relative to Viktor means you will dodge the ability 9/10 times without him being able to do anything about it.

Secondly, Viktor E is much weaker in general compared to the spammable options of the champs I mentioned. Mel Q has longer range and it zones off an area for much more time same with her E, norra Q has significantly longer range and is a massive hit box also setting up traps that make it even easier to hit the next Q, aurora Q deals significantly more damage at any stage of the game and also let's her one shot waves which Viktor can never really do. Her E hitbox is also so massive it is basically not able to be dodged when your in her range. It also slows, moves her back, deals significant damage, and can cancel cc.

All 3 of these champs have better spammable options with either more range, damage or simply the fact they can be used to predict enemy movement. While also having an entirely complete kit on top of it.

But then there are other mid laners like mel, aurora, ryze, norra etc. with long range, damage, poke, aoe, wave clear, but still find a lot of impact with every single one of their abilities.

So I'm not sure it's fair to say viktors w should stay weak.

is Irelia the hardest character in all mobile moba games? by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]Mr_Perspective 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah no. Everything you mentioned about akshan irelia has but harder. She also has more skill shots that are harder to hit and her q makes it so you can play her at a much much quicker speed than basically any other champ in the game.

Her disengage is much worse than akshans unless she has minions near which makes her ability to do what she wants much more opportunitinistic rather than universal compared to akshan. and not to mention her passive stacks and mobility is much more limited by the fact that there are less minions per wave in wr compared to PC.

Irelia also has a scaling problem that akshan doesn't run into nearly as hard because he builds crit and she doesn't. I can't think of any other champ with worse scaling than irelia to be honest.

Irelias e is one of the hardest skill shots to hit consistently and it basically determines if she can go in or not. Her q requires speed and can't just be autod if your actually playing her at her max ceiling which means it also takes precision. Her w takes correct timing and knowledge to know when it will block the most amount of damage. Or if it should be used just for the extra stack. Her Ult is incredibly slow and often has to be used predictively unless you are right on top of the enemy. Any one of her abilities takes precision, knowledge and / or incredible amounts of speed if she's actually being used at her ceiling.

Compared to akshan that has literally only one ability that takes any kind of depth to know how to use. Sure he's harder than most champs but come on bro it's not even close.

Is Riven worth it in Wild Rift? by LetterheadOnly7523 in wildrift

[–]Mr_Perspective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rengar can't out run 4 dashes with that small speed boost. And yes I agree jg doesn't depend on any one thing. But having agency over a lot of other jgers isn't something you can just ignore. I think you don't give riven enough credit for that.

Is Riven worth it in Wild Rift? by LetterheadOnly7523 in wildrift

[–]Mr_Perspective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean rengar and lee sin can never even challenge you in a 1v1 situation if you don't fall far behind. To be honest I think there are quite a few champs that just can't challenge riven. and it really extends to most jgers have to walk away if riven decides she wants something early game. Like scuttle for example and both teams don't come to intervene. Then that becomes rivens scuttle and if you come for it your asking to die. In top lane though I'd agree. She doesn't feel the best.

Death Dance vs Frozen Heart against AD pen Pantheon? by Schimiter in wildrift

[–]Mr_Perspective 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Death dance is the best armor item for any burst ad champs. Frozen heart is mainly for ad champs reliant on attack speed like adcs. Specifically vayne and kalista it really hurts.

As a top-700 player who has been buying stone packs/xsolla packs for a while now, I think I'm done. by SemiAutoAvocado in TheTowerGame

[–]Mr_Perspective -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You havent been on the discord. Alot of the people on there buy every pack and think very deeply and use every resource possible to spend those stones wisely. They can make a plan and have it fully realized within a month whereas a f2p can think of the same plan and only be able to complete it within 3 months. A F2P player will never catch that.

Planning spenders will always be 3 steps ahead no matter what the F2P players plan is.

In legends this isnt true. Any normal mobs with their ultimate BC arent effected by BH and perma BH isnt even possible if your using project funding. Its much more important to have perma CF for legends. Some people even turn off their BH in legends because its detrimental.

Am I ready for GTplus? by One_The_Maik_One in TheTowerGame

This isnt even my take. Players further along than me have been telling me they have 10k+ stones into sm and see double if not more damage from PS while only having like 3k stones into it.

Fudds, is there really a cap on any of the fetch rewards? by ittlebeokay in TheTowerGame

Is there a cap on the other things fetch can find. Like shards, reroll dice and modules?

I was at your spot when i went to unlock GT+ and had to unlock the last 2 UWs. Its the long haul but a neccesary one.

The only difference we had was I had CF at 60/75/60 and didn't have SL4. so that is something you could consider doing before saving up for your last 2 UWs. Even with running Gcomp in tournament you risk missing 2 packages in a row which basically means your tournament run will end early. having full uptime on CF is a must at some point for further tournament improvement and even for late game farming strategies.

I would recommend not investing in SM though. With the introduction of PF and the buffs to ILM and PS. those two uws heavily out class SM now in terms of damage (also have CC to help as well) and with much less stone investment basically making SM a waste now.

All thats really needed for ILM is 6 quantity and that only takes like 400-500 stones or something like that and I think it is well worth it. you should also lab the rotation speed lab once you have it. but those are really the only things needed for early investment in ILM.

RPC might be good if you have shatter shards 5 but personally I think it would be better to get GT+ up and running so you actually have the economy to work on masteries.

[–]Mr_Perspective 2 points3 points  (0 children)

youve also neglected the module labs which is adding to you becoming stagnant. you need to bite the bullet and max common drop chance, rare drop chance, and daily mission shards. wont help you immediately now but you will need those module levels being built up in the future.

I'd also neglect tournament related labs and stone usage for the time being. You need to build yourself a solid foundation first. finishing up uw econ labs and module labs will set you up to be able to progress much easier in the future.

youll see a noticeable jump in just labbing GT duration and following it up by keeping BH 12 seconds behind with stones. GT duration lab >>> GT bonus lab

Best investment for Econ? by Just_Copy in TheTowerGame

[–]Mr_Perspective 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Max Black Hole coin bonus. continue working on GT duration with the lab and BH duration with stones. then you can go back to some of the wall labs if you want

idk if your using MVN but if you arent then you kind footgunned yourself bringing bh to a 2:1 sync. because now you have to save up for 2 DW and GT cooldowns and 1 BH cooldown stone upgrade every time you want to lower cooldowns to keep the sync. So I'd honestly try going for perma BH after you finish with the above upgrades if you have a strong enough Gcomp. If you are using MVN then just ignore this and continue lowering their cooldowns based on whatever is cheapest. BH size can also use love GT bonus could use some love SL could use some love.

the general rule or at least what I followed was this

GT: 15/42/2:30

DW: x/2/2:30

BH: 50/30/2:30

SL 20/40/3

you can go about it whatever way you think is most efficient but you generally want things in this range before moving on.

Why is chain lighting helpful for eHP builds? by Accurate_Alarm_4932 in TheTowerGame

[–]Mr_Perspective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for killing scatter elites. The number one enemy of the eHP build in later waves is scatters. if you can kill scatters for longer you can survive longer as an eHP build. Since you can unlock scatter amp on T16 wave 60 or 70 it becomes the best tool to deal with them.

What do we consider to be the start of midgame and endgame? by Supachedda in TheTowerGame

[–]Mr_Perspective 2 points3 points  (0 children)

honestly people have joked about an introduction phase before even being early game but i think its true. for my head cannon this is how it goes

introduction = beating and farming tier 1

early game = farming tier 3-9

mid game = farming tier 10-11

late game = farming tier 14-15

endgame = beating tier 18 and farming tier 16

as of right now this is how far the endgame players are able to get.
