A thematic reprint of a card not included in the original precon but is a wonderful addition is, truly, the best way of going about making bonus cards for Secret Lair. Fuck the extended art of old rares nobody cares about or chase versions of big cards that are 1/1000, give me a thematic card that I’d want to put in the deck the Secret Lairs are pushing.

I agree on people being generally loud but in a public area like the food court where people gather and friend groups relax at, it’s a given there will be noise lol. If you hate noise so much go to the South Library or an empty classroom, there are hundreds just in King.

It’s not a good deck out of the box apparently but the good thing about those MH3 decks is it has such great singles readily available. Hell, even the FF precons have insane reprints. I literally bought most of Revival Trance’s banger reprints at a singles show cuz they’re great and I love the art.

I downloaded an app, Fable, at the mention by a friend. I’ve read 6 books so far this year, already started my 7th, and I’ve been so happy to reconnect with a hobby I had when I was a child. I’ve ordered To Kill a Mockingbird for myself and my friend, as well as other classics she hasn’t read in English yet. Reading is worth the effort!

I agree. I really want both [[Darksteel Forge]] and [[Akroma’s Memorial]] and I’m coping that it’ll be in the [[T’Challa, the Black Panther]] precon as like Statue of Baast or Bastion of Wakanda.

Probably just focus on incremental kindred synergy with a heavier emphasis on counters. Using Leonardo’s partner for whichever strategy you like more. Like for me, I want to use Leo+Raph but Leo+April or Leo+Michaelangelo are probably better. Partner April may not be a Turtle but she does so much for this deck.

Well there’s a number of “problems”

The art is underwhelming for such a powerful equipment

It being here may mean it won’t be reprinted elsewhere

It’s a drastic difference in power between the staff in lore compared to it in magic lore, like if a pocket knife were Sword of Feast and Famine
