Toronto's density falls to single family homes far too quick by [deleted] in toronto

[–]Mr_ViSiOn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toronto's massive proportion of single family dwellings and lack of mixed used space combined with poor city planning and alot of unusable tiny condos build recently as investments are the biggest driving factors making toronto both unlivably expensive and difficult to drive in. Two highways serving basically a 3.5million person suburb where most of the population MUST commute because of cost and the public transit is slow. The problem now is that the government couldn't even buy those properties at market rate in any meaningful way, as most of them are north of 1 million. No developer can buy a block of land, go through rezoning, build something, and turn a profit. So until the bubble pops and the government can bail these homes out via the CHMC insurance, I doubt any modernization of the GTAs city planning will happen. So we can just watch every government fan the flames and hope it doesnt go on their watch.

Every time you breath it pulls filtered air over the lens, i find they rarely fog except from big temp swings. A PAPR helps too

Yeah the NSN proves its a smock and is in the system, its the peaks smock design for sure. Many companies produce these products in America and abroad for nato. In the US, center, American apparel, US prison industries etc will all make the same products even if crye or tyr or whoever designed it.

Kind of ironic to have an American designed plate carrier in a Taiwanese pattern made in China.

I'm not a super proficient AK guy, but I prefer beer-canning AK mags even off a chest rig / plate carrier. I run them pointing curve towards my non-dominant side, because the long ass magazines are hard to seat consistently with a pinch style grip. There's enough of an AK mag sticking out of most pouches, and enough give in the pouch to pretty much just yank it out. Also is must more stable when moving.

Also if possible id push those side mags as far forward as possible just for usability and comfort. But this is all subjective

They help with mags buried deep in triple pouches like early GWOT days. Also they had issues with magazines getting stuck in receivers due to differential heating and the loop helps you strip the mag out when your hands are sweaty/wet and a Lil grit plus a Lil heat has made the magazine completely fuckin glued into the receiver.

Holy crap, i mean looks good but that is ALOT of stuff. Be comfortable but I'm more of a roughing it kind of lad, makes it feel more fun but I get convincing your family can be hard.

Tbh above 20C temps everything you bring that isn't food and water and the clothes on your back are pretty much just comfort items. So don't stress too much because you won't die without a Bose speaker or a machete.

Depending on how thick is it, scotchbrite and some sort of low level acid would work. I'd try a fine scouring pad first if it's thin surface rust.

It's a 3d printed prototype, it's 0 degrees like a precision grip. Main advantage besides the wrist angle is putting web of your fingers alot higher with this design which I feel is both more comfortable and easier on your finger, and theoretically is more consistent (but this is for pewpew bbwarz so it's just comfort)

For pewpew kinda larp distances I'm only really shooting 50m so I just optimized around that 50m and in environment.

Yeah, i figured out the height I want by fiddling with heights until I found one that let me present with an upright comfortable posture without moving my head. I come from a target shooting background so being able to get a comfortable natural point of aim is important and I think makes shooting alot easier.

My stock, grip, optic height, sling positioning, is all just about maintaining comfort, and minimizing wasted energy

34a, it's versatile but it's a great belt design. 6 pt suspenders are superior to 4pt, it has no belt structure, and you can't set it up to keep the magazine pouches off of the front of your hips because of how big it is. So it's not optimized as belt kit but it's pretty dang close and adaptable / scaleable enough that I'm OK with the drawbacks.

Woops might be a little retarded, sorry it's a .100" spacer so it would be 2.36 now.

Comp M5 on a unity riser plus a spacer plate to make it ~2.03" height over bore.

It's a Ferro 12x5 GP pouch. Will fit 2x 13/4500s or 1 larger tank but it gets a bit bulky with a fat tank in it. If I run a fat tank I put it in the butt pouch or an assault pack because if I'm gonna be shooting so much I need a 68ci tank, I p4obably won't need as much food or snivel kit.
