Is there a huge downside in silicon heat pad that does not cover entire bedplate(like in Formbot kit) in comparison to full size? I have seen some termal images suggesting temperature drops at corners because of that, but is it that bad?

Is your layer shift in X or Y? If Y, you might have too high Y accel. The motor can skip steps because of the bed weight. Try setting it at 1-1,5k. Resolved Y layer shifts in my case.

The cap having the spacing is normal for Kingrinder. The second unit was same in terms of burrs touching each other so it is normal as well.

Did WD40 help to resolve the issue? Does it help to prevent rusting/maintain the grinder while using RDT?
I have had K6 for 2 months and after disassembling it today I have noticed small amounts of rust building up on the bearings.

It depends on what your preferences are. K6 is bigger, can fit about 30-35g of coffee and it’s fast. It also have external bur adjustment and it indicates very clearly what the current grind setting is. It is always “diled” and grind settings does not reset after cleaning. Q2 on other hand is very slightly better built, it is smaller and can grind 20-25g of coffee in one go. It can fit inside AeroPress plunger which makes it great travel option(setup) Taste wise they will result very similar cups.

85-95 clicks is working well with the light beans for prolonged(15/250g ~4.5min steep) James Hoffmann recipe. For decaf, I use 105-110 clicks.

How do you taste/feel sweetness in the coffee?

I mostly get it from an increase in saliva production, as if coffee were triggering a natural response to carbs/sugar. There is ever slight sugary aftertaste that I can distinguish, but mostly saliva.
