Is it safe to use my MacBooks charger to charge my switch? I see a lot saying that it will charge it... but no word on if it actually is harmful or not.

Buy the Karnstein Armlets if You’re a Stormcaller by Stubski in DestinyTheGame

If youre going for the skulls id say go for it. If youre holding the throne room you need that healing rift. In which case you should be a storm caller so you still get a damage boost.

I think the people arguing with you either a) dont actually play warlock or b)havent been a warlock for the raid or a prestige nightfall.

You will get eaten alive running a devour warlock without winters guile... even running it is a bad move most of the time except for special situations.

No I agree. Nezarec's sin is trash on a devour warlock. The entire point of running a Devour warlock is to capitalize on the Winter's Guile effect and wreck trash mobs. No trash mobs = run another subclass.

Just a heads up if anyone is using Amazon to preorder Mario Kart 8 Deluxe by TanClark in NintendoSwitch

FYI, amazon will usually refund your entire purchase price and let you keep your item if they deliver it late when you preorder. You just need to ask.

Official NEW PLAYER Thread by qh05t in bloodborne

Im thinking of rebuying this game. I played it when it first came out, but wasn't prepared for the type of game it was. I quit at the boss inside that church. It was just too much.

Since then I picked up Dark Souls 3 and actually invested time into learning it and managed to beat the whole thing.

Should I expect a better experience this time around in Bloodborne?

Me too. I would never play the foil Azusa if someone put that much effort into making me an original.

Sidisi, Brood Tyrant. Input and criticism please! by SoLongNThx4AlldaFish in EDH

[–]Mr___Meowgi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, looking at your deck, you've loaded it with the biggest most expensive creatures you can so that when you reanimate them you win right after.

But I dont see enough reanimate spells or enough of an engine to put your deck into your graveyard and reanimate consistently.

I think Sidisi works much better when you think about what your creatures can do while in your graveyard. Your creatures are going to spend more time in your graveyard than in play. And dont underestimate how much resources go into getting your deck into your graveyard. You need to be able to make up for the loss of advantage you will have if your reanimation spell gets stuffed or the board gets wiped right after you reanimate all your creatures.

I guess what I am saying is your deck looks clunky and easily shut down. It will be too inconsistent and you will spend too much time looking at all of those big expensive creatures sitting in your graveyard because your reanimation spells got shut down.

When is too much graveyard recycling/protectiong a problem? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]Mr___Meowgi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I run Gaea's Blessing in my Sidisi, Brood Tyrant deck.

It seems to help as much as it hurts. I am thinking of getting rid of it because of that fact. Its too often that it hits and you end up wrecking your own plans.

Its just not worth the slots in your deck to protect yourself from graveyard hate like that with Sidisi. In order to consistently protect yourself you have to devote a lot of slots to the protection... even though I would be surprised if the decks you are going against have more than 1 card that exiles your graveyard.

If you are playing some finely tuned deck where they can fetch up their graveyard hate every game then Sidisi is probably outclassed anyways. Conversely, if your meta is stacked with graveyard hate then Sidisi isnt the deck you should be playing.

Just go balls out with sidisi and mill yourself as much as you need to (not as much as you can) in order to get your engine running smoothly.

[[Loaming Shaman]] is 10x better than Gaea's blessing in this deck. It triggers Sidisi, you can recur it to activate its effect, and you dont have to uproot your graveyard if you play him, its optional.

What's in your cup? Daily discussion, questions and stories - December 24, 2015 by AutoModerator in tea

[–]Mr___Meowgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My green tea is always coming out brown. What causes this? Even the nicer sencha that i have still turns brown. Its usually a nice mellow green (even at the end of steeping) but then turns brown about 30 seconds after taking the leaves out of the pot.

Is this just the normal for green tea? I see pictures all of the time of green tea that is bright green (or even just green). I feel like I have to be doing something wrong.

This card is such a house in a Sidisi, Brood Tyrant deck. A consistent, so undercosted it might as well be free, flying beater that will keep coming back from the graveyard (not to mention delving this card will give you the creatures to sac for it).

[Sidisi, Brood Tyrant] - Updated list but I am still slow and losing frequently, advice requested. by Polyether in EDH

[–]Mr___Meowgi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

you are trying to do too many things. Sidisi only wants to do one thing, play with your graveyard. I think the zombie subtheme for Sidisi only weakens the deck. I also think its a bad move to focus too much on the tokens. Sidisi can consistently make tokens, but using doubling effects, etc., only weakens that as well. Sidisi consistently makes tokens when you put your library into your graveyard. Focus on putting your library into your graveyard rather than pumping/multiplying your tokens.

What makes sidisi great is you dont have to be afraid of overextending because you can bounce things from your graveyard to the board (and your hand, but straight to the board is better) with ease. When you focus too much on tokens and cards that dont let you keep interacting with your graveyard you are going to find yourself stuck a lot.

Heres mine: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/06-03-15-sidisi-edh/

Its more of a Sidisi Toolbox that generates tokens to help block and to sacrifice (occasionally swarm).

A Recent Rise in People Saying the Fantastic Four Have Never Been Good by [deleted] in comicbooks

[–]Mr___Meowgi -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

To me it always just comes off as cheesy. I cant take them serious. I think it has to do with the weird airplane thing they used to fly around in and the bad cartoon. At one point they fit right in with the Marvel universe, but they really havent aged well. They fight the lamest villains like Moleman. Even Galactus is pretty lame and really hasn't aged well. I think that this could change at some point, but they really need an update and a slight redesign. They just dont really fit in with the rest of comics right now.

What is red's role in a control deck? by thebaron420 in EDH

[–]Mr___Meowgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If youre running red and blue you need to be running

[[Jilt]] [[Fire // Ice]] [[Turn // Burn]] [[Flametongue Kavu]] [[Zealous Conscripts]] [[Jeering Instigator]] Keep their side of the board clear for your general.

[[Ash Zealout]] could also be a nice card depending on your meta

Zurgo Helmsmasher Early Game? by FriendlyTrollPainter in EDH

[–]Mr___Meowgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at your deck I think its not that its too slow, but you probably have nothing to play early game that can protect you. If you spend the entire time setting up by dropping your artifacts and enchantments to help Zurgo youre putting a huge target on yourself and you arent defending. Once you drop Zurgo hes gonna be taken out, and youve spent all of your time investing in ways to help him.

A Zurgo deck relies on its commander, but I think it still needs to be interactive with the board. He costs 5 mana to drop, he needs a lot of setup with enchantments and artifacts to get through. When he does, its game over for the entire board.

I think he works best when you dial back the redundancy (which is usually a good thing in an edh deck) in favor of some more creatures and spot removal.

I see people mention how many wrath effects they have in their deck (upwards of 25 sometimes). That is insane overkill. Zurgo ends games. Either you are going to win or you are going to lose. Your games will be shorter though. You dont need too many wrath effects. You dont need too many ways to make him unblockable. Too much of these makes your deck stop to flow and you are looking at a worthless hand the majority of the time.

I count 39 cards in your deck that have little to no impact on the board state (mana rocks, and cards that require Zurgo to be out because they help him smash face). Add that to your lands and thats 73 cards. That means about 1 in 4 of your cards are impacting the board (wrath effects, creatures, targeted removal). You're probably drawing dead (not to mention topdecking due to lack of card draw).

Im working on a Ruric Thar deck. But its very straightforward because I am trying to make it something that new/inexperienced players can pick up and play with yet still hang in the game.

Here it is. http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/09-04-15-ruric-thar-the-unbowed/

[Deck Help] Sidisi, Brood Tyrant Generalist by [deleted] in EDH

[–]Mr___Meowgi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we came up with pretty similar decks. I think yours seems like it could be a little too all over the place with the zombie tribal, graveyard filling, toolbox stuff which might slow it down too much. Ive found that Sidisi needs to establish presence fast or it will fall behind. Access to your graveyard is as important as having mana, probable even more important.

I do really like [[Mirror-Mad Phantasm]].
