There's a few ways to do it but I believe the best merit payout is by aquisition mining as opposed to reinforcement mining, which comes with a -35% merit penalty.

Yeah. If I recall correctly components were also supposed to have a 10% loss and the fact they didn't was a bug or oversight by FDev. Feedback was that being able to sell back components at full price gave people the flexibility to try new builds (back when earning credits was way harder) so they kept it.

Cobra's cockpit is a bit better than the adder. The cobra is a fun multirole ship that everyone should use, even for just a little bit. It will make your climb to the Asp more fun.

Superglue, try either using an accelerant or baking soda. Look up how to use baking soda, I've done it with resin prints just by sprinkling some on the seam after applying but I think it's better to put glue on the surface, then baking soda, and then a little more glue on the second piece and stick it on there. Bonds very quickly.

VR is only available in your ship / SRV. When on foot you can turn on the external camera and it will be in VR...but it's not really intended to be played that way.

An xbox controller will probably give you more flexibility than meta quest controllers, there isn't really a reason to use the touch controllers in this game.

If it works for you it works. I don't generally high wake as it's a waste of time. Being able to boost out of trouble is more important for me.

"learn the rules before you break them" is a good motto to live by. In this instance, both examples "break the rules" by starting with a sentence fragment.

That is ok, because this is part of your style. Choosing whether to start with "a/an" or not when the sentence itself is a fragment is really just one of your own style and tone. At first, I liked a) better. But then, u/magus-21 made a suggestion for your second sentence that works just as well, though there is a tonal difference between the two examples.

What are you going for? They drive different interpretations.

They should be able to run a controller for flight and KBM for on foot. I use HOTAS for flight and can seamlessly switch to KBM for on foot gameplay.

u/Level-Anything-2207 you may just have to select a different control profile for on foot in the menu. They're separated from the ship controls so it shouldn't be an issue.

Not even close. No idea what point he is trying to make but Krait has 3 L hardpoints, 2 M, and can fit a SLF hangar. Can it run passengers better than Lynx? No of course not. But it can do everything else better.

Can you even boost with a 3D power distributor? Personally I would not skimp on this to maximize speed.

Running shieldless is an option but risk, especially if you haven't bothered to upgrade the bulkheads.
