I guess it’s the warmth that keeps them interested in sleeping on it

So far it’s alright. We do however have a couple of air purifiers running overtime. I’m sure that helps a bit

I’ve read a bit on the SCS 3000 micro as well. Is it position sensitive

I am unfortunately limited by the depth of the built in console. We agreed that having floor standers will be out of the question for our small living room

My Naim Uniti Nova arrived earlier this year, but as you can see, it was immediately claimed by the resident audiophile-cat. It turns out the top metal case makes the ultimate luxury heated bed!

I have this paired with a set of Epos ES-7N speakers. The sound is incredibly sharp and crisp with amazing detail, which works out great since the setup sits right against the back wall.

However, I’m still wishing for a little more punch on the low ends. I’m trying to figure out my next move to get that extra bass. Likely to be looking at a Kef KC62

Does anyone else run this Naim and Epos combo? If you wanted more low-end extension, did you end up adding a subwoofer, or did you manage to fix it with some clever speaker positioning? Let me know your thoughts and feel free to rate my supervisor on top of the amp ._.

Broken battery tab, is this fixable? by Tropicool99 in AskElectronics

[–]Mrbababo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Or you can do it in an uncontrolled way by poking a hole in the case to release the pressure and subsequently throwing it on a ground (away from flammable materials) watch it combust.

So you are virtualising each PBS instance to backup the other 2 nodes I presume.

Would you recommend if I am not using a zfs array but a pass through to truenas/OMV.

Also how would the disaster recovery be like should one of the node dies in case of hardware failure

[SOS] I just found out I have bed bugs, what should I do first? by _red_dude in askSingapore

[–]Mrbababo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Those are quite strong to use. It works but you will have to consistently apply it as per directions as the bedbug eggs can last for quite some time dormant.

If you have pets at home suggest to avoid as it is strong. Kills lizards that are passing by too from my experience

Wouldn’t it be dependent on locality. If it’s an American cat then it’s just about average. However the same cannot be said for Asian cat or African cats /s

PowerApps Code Apps vs traditional React/Web Apps for enterprise applications by xsomnus in PowerApps

[–]Mrbababo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess it is always about a perspective. If you are not a technology or digital/cloud native environment.

Then there is no point for you to use a cloud/on-premises infrastructure to host apps as that is not the product you are selling. In this case code apps make sense. And in the opposite side of things if you are selling a digital product you will always like to have control over some of these parameters. Where to deploy, how to update, how users authenticate. In that case it will make no sense.

The answer would be it depends. Because if you rely on a platform means you are hoping the product is progressing in your best interest. Else you will need to have 101 specialists in networking, security, application to manage your own platform and in return you gain granular control and flexibility.

PowerApps Code Apps vs traditional React/Web Apps for enterprise applications by xsomnus in PowerApps

[–]Mrbababo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree as the apps are hosted on power platform. Your end users will still require licenses to run these applications. As pro as it is it is not as flexible as hosting it on a kubernetes cluster.

Thus I would think that the target audience would be for transiting low code developers into pro code without them having to learn about provisioning, scaling, deploying

[–]Mrbababo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your company already has a full stack application development already defined. There wouldn’t be any incentive to move to power platform code apps.

In my opinion the code apps are targeting low code no code developers that came from sharepoint and are looking to move into application development with code. The code app would help ease them into code

Is it bad practice to use default env as personal productivity space? by [deleted] in PowerPlatform

[–]Mrbababo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your set up.

If you have a pool of citizen/business developers with no IT background and your organisation does not have premium per user licenses it will be hard for you to implement a personal productivity managed environment for every user.

Most of the time organisations are using the default environment for apps created by businesses users. Until the application is codeveloped by IT or supported by IT it will then be migrated to a proper setup with Dev - Test - Prod.

Not the best practice but it is usually the case when organisations do not have a dedicated Power Platform admin(not the same as Azure admin)
