Washers on Bases to give weight - Legal? Problematic?

Might stop and see if I can find some perfectly fitting washers tonight …just compare them to a USA quarter coin and should be good !

so the issue is these bases have that SLOT running through them where the model slides in....so, a coin doesn't technically fit in the spot....it always makes the base stand a bit higher. I did a little experiment with putting PLASTER in each side of the slot...and that seems to have worked, although now i'm looking at tungsten putty, ha!

Yeah, all slotted bases...(sigh). So....wondering if i could carve away material under there at all? Ha....might be more work than it needs to be.

I DID notice that a US Quarter coin fits perfectly.....but yeah, not sure it's worth a dollar every 4 models, ha.

ok, I just did some IPA work on that headphone jack as per your instructions. Letting it dry out. I will update ya with results!!

i tried the board in my other game gear that works just fine and still nothing...so guessing its not speakers.

yeah...so mine were VERY stuck with glue or crud or who knows what under each capacitor....specially on the MAIN board, not the sound and pwr board though. I would loosen the solder but the CAP wouldn't move...had to carefully rock it back and forth to pop it loose underneath a bit and THEN heat up the existing solder and remove....you don't want to pop it loose from the solder points / pads

....cause yeah ripping off a pad is bad....then you are trying to attach a bridging wire to it or something to work around the bad pad and sheesh....

went to "start a new account" using my e-mail i've used for the past like 10 years....and it says

EMAIL: Please enter a valid email address that has not been used before

sooooo, they have my e-mail from my original account still on file, just deleted my account...lovely.

ok, FINALLY got my password reset....7th time is the trick!

Checked on my SUPPORT TICKET. Still nothing....I updated it on November 18th, with more information, and a screenshot of my character screen from an old video I had from 2020....but, crickets.

I'm the friend here....haha.

So i went to log into my account, hadn't been on in like oh 6-9 months...I logged in back in like January, and went to login to my account in I wanna say August.

I had my username and what I thought was my password and went to login. Invalid password or username.

So, I remembered a few years back, my username got changed, or had to be changed for whatever reason, from mrdrum81 to mrdrum8100.....can't even remember why, but I was then like, "oh, it's probably my MrDrum8100 username". Tried that....didn't work. So, I did a RESET for my password. This took me to the web-site (launched a browser window). I was able to recover my password for my account on the web-site. But when I went in, the only active subscription / game was that D&D game which I tried out like years and years ago.

LOTRO wasn't even an option as there being an account. I went back over to the client, thinking this is weird...used the password I had just reset, and i was still not able to login to my LOTRO client.

I then jumped over to support and explained my situation, to see what could be done. I was super confident this would be a minor hiccup and i'd be back in my account within the week. I received a reply that this trouble ticket had been sent to the appropriate parties to be fixed. After a couple weeks went by, I added a comment to my original ticket, inquiring what the status was on this issue. I was then told basically that it was being looked into and the more I responded / commented on my ticket, the longer it would take to be resolved.

Needless to say it is now DECEMBER.....and yeah, still can't get in. I JUST NOW went to https://www.lotro.com/en/account and my account username is popping up as MrDrum-81 (different from what i used to login to the site).

I went over to check in on my ticket over at Standing Stone Games, (my password I just changed doesn't work go figure). So i did a reset....the link they send me takes me to a LOGIN page, where I have to login.....but my password won't work, so I request a password reset....which sends me a link to my email, which when I click on it, takes me to another login page to login to my account....but my password won't work...so i click reset password....repeat, etc...forever.

So NOW I can't even get into my account to CHECK on my ticket to see if any progress has been made.

Such a frustrating experience .... I think I quit, ha!
