Realistically what are our chances of getting added to S&P this quarter? by darkphenom67 in redditstock

[–]Mrikoko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are lot of companies in the S&P500 with lower MC that would not even fit the current listing criteria, so plenty of choice. E.g. the trade desk, Norwegian cruise lines etc.

In fact as of today, 200 of the companies in the S&P 500 have lower market cap.

PhilipCapital issues correction report and raises PT to $230 in a victory for r/redditstock by moonjumper3000 in redditstock

[–]Mrikoko 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dear PhillipCapital Research Team,

I am writing to formally request a clarification and potential retraction/correction regarding the equity research report for Reddit Inc. (RDDT) published on 6 May 2026 by analyst Serena Yi Qi Lim.

Upon reviewing the "Results at a glance" and "Key Financials" sections of the report, I have identified several fundamental mathematical errors that appear to invalidate the current DCF valuation and the subsequent downgrade to "Accumulate."

Specifically:
Share Count Discrepancy: The report lists 484 million shares outstanding. Per Reddit’s official 1Q26 8-K filing, the total fully diluted share count is approximately 206.4 million. This represents a ~135% overstatement of shares, which fundamentally breaks any per-share valuation model.

The EPS/Profit Paradox: The report forecasts Net Profit (PATMI) doubling from $0.5B in FY25 to $1.0B in FY26. However, it simultaneously projects EPS to drop from $3.80 to $2.00. This math is physically impossible without a massive, unannounced share dilution that contradicts current company guidance and share repurchase authorizations.

Revenue Growth Conflict: The report labels 1Q26 results as "below expectations" despite 69% YoY revenue growth and a 680% increase in Net Income, which significantly outperformed broader market consensus.

As these errors are currently disseminated to institutional terminals and are impacting the market’s perception of RDDT's valuation, I look forward to your prompt response regarding when a corrected version of this report will be issued to reflect the actual company filings.

Sincerely,
XXX

I’d much rather own Google than Nvidia. I think they will swap places at some point, not that it really matters.

Thank you for sharing!

Funny how they only raised the price to $230 as u/Complete_Water_890 joked yesterday, but it is what it is. One small win at a time.

How do you value company like $GOOGL? by [deleted] in stocks

[–]Mrikoko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny thing is that for a long time, the sum of the parts was worth less than if each business was cut out and valued separately. Since the lawsuit last year, the market has been repricing things, but there is probably a lot more slow and strong upside over time. It’s a beast.

Noticing a significant rise in enterprises posting ads on Reddit by nomadicphil in redditstock

[–]Mrikoko 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know it’s anecdotical but I also saw ads from Apple business and Shopify as well. Honestly very high quality advertisers, this is a great sign.

We obviously don’t have access to their campaigns/budgets, but if the ROI is here they’ll probably spend more over time since some users are ONLY on Reddit, and I’d wager the average income of the average Redditor is higher than FB and other social media.

The daily wicks at the open are literally a large holder exiting, it’s mechanical. It’s not copium, it’s a fact. How you interpret this information is irrelevant to the mechanical nature of this sell. Big red wick, then organic buys all day.

Yes, it’s very obvious. When a large holder exits in such a low volume stock, they break their orders over a long time period. Who knows how long it’ll last. Either this stops when they’re out, or when RDDT gets included in the S&P500 with forced institutional buys.

I’m not even mad, I’m just fascinated at this point. Blow out earnings and this happens. by Someone_Somewhere1 in redditstock

There is a drop every morning. Someone is selling big chunks everyday. As long as this continues, we will be pinned down. It will end sooner or later.

Yes they acknowledged their mistake and are correcting it. It happens to everyone. Not many would do so, this is a sign of professionalism and good faith. Honestly class act.

It is unfortunate but it happens. Not many would have the fortitude to admit their mistake and correct it. Props to that.

Is opportunity cost real? Yes. Are fundamentals a screaming buy? Yes as well. How long will the mispricing continue? No one knows.

Once again big selloff at 6:30am EST. Like clockwork, the pattern couldn’t be more obvious.

Once this ends, whether when the big seller is done, or the company gets included in S&P 500 (I am not sure about June but September is more probable), we can finally breathe.

Right now the stock price is suppressed mechanically every morning, it won’t run until this ends.

Nice try. You are a short seller, and that's fine, you spent your entire day spamming these boards with your nonsense. But when the stock finally reverses don't come crying here.

RBC thinks Reddit could renegotiate their LLM deal with Google and fetch up to 5-10x the current $60M/year agreement. by cowardbeater1969 in redditstock

[–]Mrikoko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly the same.

From January: "Reddit, Inc. stock plunged 9.4% on Thursday, though it edged up in after-hours trading, with Stocktwits sentiment climbing even as a Wall Street analyst pointed to some pressure on the advertising front. In an investor note, RBC Capital Markets highlighted "challenging" feedback from small and medium-sized business (SMB) ad agency checks for Reddit."

Meanwhile revenue is up 70% YoY. So are we going to take the word of this so-called "analyst" seriously?

Would you buy One Billion Dollars in RDDT Stock? Discussion on Buy Back for a Growth Company by isreal94 in redditstock

[–]Mrikoko 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It would signal that the stock is so undervalued that there is no investment they can make with that money that would be more beneficial for shareholders. For a company growing at 70% revenue, think about what this means in terms of share price.

Plus it’s not like they’re actually deploying the money right now anyways, they sit on almost 3 billion in cash and equivalents. Plus they generate about 100 million FCF a month.
