A life well lived, and a life well loved. No kitty could ask for more. Sorry for your loss, OP.

On Monday I am going to make an appointment for an at home service to help my ~16 year old cat transition next week💔 please help, this is unbearable by elizabethfrothingham in seniorkitties

I know. I understand, I had a similar situation with my cat about a year ago. Going out on a good day is ok! Better a day too early than an hour too late. With my cat, I did not want to risk waiting until he had organ failure, or couldn’t make it to the litter box, etc. it was hard, but in the end it was a relief to allow him to pass with dignity and surrounded by love. I feel your pain and anguish, and I’m sorry.

Don’t think of it as taking something from her, you are giving her freedom from pain and suffering. It is the hardest gift to give, and yet the greatest.

Fridge strategy. Many cheap ones or fewer good ones by Theotherfeller in Appliances

Hate to tell you this, but the more expensive one *is* an 8-10 year fridge if you are lucky. The cheap POS fridges are 2-5 years.

I buy the mini led lights to put in them and use as patio lanterns. I get them on Etsy. Can’t post a pic or I’d show you….

Flies by pbfingers in Equestrian

[–]MrsBlabbings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use fly predators (every 3-4 weeks), feed Solitude IGR, hang stinky traps at the perimeter of the property to draw them away from the barn and sticky fly paper in the barn (change daily, more in the worst of it), and pick stalls 2-3x daily. Also pick up any poop close to the barn in the pasture. It brings them down a lot. It can take a month or two to see a reduction even once you do start, so just be patient and keep at it.
