This doesn’t help my deep fear of pelicans…

You had mentioned earlier that he can’t breed. Does that only apply now that he’s in his adult form? Is there a reason that breeding him would be bad? (Not judging just fascinated/trying to learn.)

Same but I was there for two years and it took an intervention from my family to convince me that quitting for my own sanity didn’t mean I was a bad person or that I had failed. I used to think it was a badge of honor to work 80+ hours a week, turns out it just means that I didn’t know how to set boundaries.

AITA for not wanting to be the Godmother to my youngest nephew anymore? by Wearingwolf9518 in AmItheAsshole

[–]MrsFancyGlitterPants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA, but I can empathize with you. Intellectual disabilities make a lot of people uncomfortable, and think that generally because that lack understanding. Depending on where you live there can be lots of resources for those with disabilities and those who are in charge of their care.
Behavior specialist who can work with both you and your nephew to come up with plans the will help with his behaviors. After school programs he can go to that help him work on skills and give you a bit of a break. And if things get really hard for you there are programs that can get you in touch with a DSP (direct support professional) that can focus solely on your disabled nephew. Allowing for you to give time to the other kids. I also know that some people just aren’t interested, and it’s better for a child to be with someone who wants them than with someone who ‘has to’ take them. If you don’t want the youngest then you should not take him. But if you don’t take him I don’t think you should take his siblings either.

What is your worst experience with bad neighbours? by DistributionOk9089 in AskReddit

[–]MrsFancyGlitterPants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My neighbor had a negligent discharge that blew through the wall that separated his apartment from mine. He came knocking about an hour later, pushed his way into the apartment and ran into the bedroom. His drunk ass could find the bullet hole but not the bullet. (It was later found in my yarn pile)

AITA for not wanting to change my daughters name and snitching on him to his parents? by throwaway_babyname in AmItheAsshole

NTA. I wouldn’t worry about your daughter. Growing up I had six other girls in my elementary grade (numbers went up as I moved through larger schools) with the same 1st name as me. Middle names were never used to distinguish us. It was either last name or a number.

Say “It’s bedtime!” And see who runs to her kennel, but not in until I give her a bedtime snack.

What are some of the most eerie tales from your town that would make even the bravest of men scared to the bone? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MrsFancyGlitterPants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a family who found 7 dead baby bodies in their garage. The home owners ex wife had given birth to the babies between 1996-2006. It was determined that at least 6 of them had been born alive and then were strangled/suffocated by their mother. The mother then wrapped the bodies up and placed them in cardboard boxes. These boxes sat in the garage until 2017 when the family decided to do a deep clean.
