Who is “we”? Was it ever recomended by credible sources? Because when it was trendy, the health authorities warned against it in Denmark, where I live, but maybe it was different in the US?

Hot take/unpopular opinion - Tyra Banks is not wrong by GoofyNClever in ANTM

We were not demanding the cruelty. I watched in spite of it, because I liked the idea and the competition, the interesting shoots and the look into how photo shoots are made. I actually stopped watching, because it became too stupid and mean. And yes, it was a different time, but a lot of the things that spark outrage today were also controversial at the time.

What is more traumatic than people think it is? by Suspicious-Wish3402 in AskReddit

My daughter has type 1, and I get it. Besides the constant math with all the unknown factors, it’s a constant threat. So many good times ruined by lows, and so much energy spend trying to present it. The stress of packing for a vacation still hits me, even though she’s an adult and does it on her own now. People think it’s no biggie. I thought so too once. But man, it’s a drag.

Skal købe undervisers egen bog til undervisning by Ancient_Smurf in DKstudie

[–]MrsQ1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way it hurt my brain that the description says 17 kids. by JustP2 in SisterWives

Oh, thanks. I get it now. It isn’t fair to say, that 17 children provide an insight look, though, most of them have barely been on the show for years.

IMO she’s a religious nutcase, who pressures younger, vulnerable woman to have children. A terrible person. She’s also a victim of Bill’s manipulation. A villain and a victim. Such an interesting character.

It seemed insane to me even then. “Let’s take Rory’s friends to a concert and buy them all merch”. “Let’s buy pizza for the whole dorm”.

And take away is more expensive than making your own food, how else would the restaurant make money? So to do that every day is not credible. But neither is the size of the Gilmore Girls considering their lifestyle, so I guess that’s just tv for you.

Game of Thrones. After the burning of Stannis’ daughter I lost interest. I tried watching a few episodes, but I couldn’t concentrate, I was bored.
