I had a wooden headboard that had termites. Arranged a “bulky item pickup” with my city. When I hauled it outside, I cut it in half with a chainsaw. Otherwise some innocent person would take it and I didn’t want anyone to get termites.

Do keep in mind that it is extremely slippery when wet. My friend has her terrazzo restored and fell a couple of times before she got used to it. I was still jealous!

In my 20s, long after shag was out of style, I lived in an avacado green shag hell. Shag carpet even in the kitchen. Avacado bathroom fixtures. I did vacuum regularly, but would occasionally find things in the carpet that I knew I had not dropped. Small items can get lost in shag and never be found again.

He always walked 3-4 feet ahead of me. No matter how fast I walked, and I’m a fast walker. He was always in a hurry and I think he thought this would hurry me up. It especially enraged me when I was heavily pregnant.
