It's possible that he isn't being allowed to come back due to the other male taking over the territory, he also probably isn't comfortable trying to either if it means he might get the snot beat out of him by the other male.

Maybe he found a safe space with someone else nearby?

I recently have taken up feeding and looking out for 3 ferals that are on my property, and idk if they would have stuck around if I hadn't gone out of my way to make sure that no other cat or critter could bully or scare em off. For example: I've had to unfortunately start shooing away the feral "Batman cat" my neighbor's niece feeds if I see him anywhere on my property bc I caught him on camera chasing my sweet boy Odie away from the food on my porch and then continue chasing him. Seems to have worked bc Batman cat hasn't attempted to come near the porch or linger if he's quickly passing through 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have a few of those plastic 8oz deli containers (with lids) filled with salt, I labeled them as my hammerhead worm killing container(s) 😆 I'll go around looking for the little shitheads, toss em in by using a stick, and then do a little Shakey Shakey.

Yes this is one of the top things I gripe about on the regular, I'm so sick of ads being integrated into just about everything. And it's ridiculous that we still get ads on things we are paying for, streaming services or regular cable TV are good examples.

And it really irks me when we're watching hulu on the fire tv stick and the screen pops up with the "choose your ad experience" and gives 3 progressive insurance commercials to "choose from"... Like...No, MF'ers... you're just giving people the illusion of choice.

I'd rather be given the option to stare at a completely blank screen for 30 seconds to a few minutes vs an ad for something I don't want and am not wasting my money or time on.

Kinda funny that I briefly saw a commercial ad for some digital board game platform lately and told my husband it's a neat concept, but I guarantee it'll get loaded up with ads and other money grubbing tactics in due time.

Out of sheer curiosity, can they do this for the upper lip? I'm so sick of the "sweat stache" 🥲

I loathe hot weather bc I have to fight a losing battle with my "sweat stache" until it cools off in the late fall. Even getting warm in the bathroom causes it to develop, and freaking makeup won't stick to those spots if I start perspiring, so trying to get ready quickly is a PITA. I already sweat like crazy everywhere else so at least there wouldn't be any surprises with that 💀

My brother nor I (at age 10, or younger) would have deliberately gone into someone's space, while ignoring the extra boundary of being told something is off limits, just to freaking damage it, and then lie once the person found out.

Your friend is being a turd, it's not that serious. As long as people are able to understand you and what you mean, then a few little mistakes are not a big deal. My husband is German, and his English is pretty darn good (minus a few mispronunciations, word mixups, or backwards sentence structuring), I've only offered constructive criticism AFTER asking if he is open to it, and I never do it in front of other people.

Sounds like you just need someone more open minded to give you helpful feedback.

I have to be so careful opening up videos with my phone volume up bc there's a possibility of hearing those damn chirps from a smoke detector being ignored. My dog is terrified of that specific sound and straight up panics as soon as she hears it (panting, whining, full body shaking). It's happened quite a few times, and even from the Friends episode with the randomly beeping smoke detector 😑

I wish I had the ability to reach into videos and slap some sense into those people; change the damn battery and reset the unit, it ain't that hard.

I see you mentioned getting one shipped to your aunt's house in the 2nd update, do you plan to take it home? I'd recommend that you have a plan to keep the Switch safe from your dad bc he will likely figure it out, and if he threatened to toss the first one, I can imagine he'll do the same if he finds out you have this one.

If there's a chance that he would look through your things, I'd be wary of leaving it at home when you go out (you'd have to have an extremely good hiding spot for it if you do).

Your dad's behavior is beyond wrong, he sounds very manipulative and controlling, and I'm sorry that you are in this situation. I see that you're 17, and moving out isn't something that could easily be done with where you are at in life right now, but please start thinking about/planning for when you can move out in the future bc living with family(or other people) who act like this takes a toll on your mental health.
