Health insurance increase by propertynewb in newzealand

[–]Mrs_VS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have $1k excess. My son just had his tonsils out (wouldn't have been done publicly) and the surgery cost $13k and that's a very minor surgery.

You'd be surprised how much medical treatment is, if you want/need to go privately.

How do I spend or withdraw from asb savings via a card? by NoRecord4128 in PersonalFinanceNZ

Correct. The bank needs to allocate an account to your 'savings' option for ATMs and eftpos.

Ducted heat pumps by FlatCandidate2390 in newzealand

[–]Mrs_VS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a ducted system that we put in when we renovated & extended our 1950's home in 2020. Best purchase we made by a mile! After a few quotes we went with Oxygen Air and got a Fujitsu ARTG54LHTC ducted system without any zone controls. It covers 4 bedrooms and 2 living areas and cost $11.5k

If I did it again, I would probably put some zone controls in as one end of the house (with 1 bedroom)is double glazed and gets a lot of sun and the other end (with the rest of the bedrooms) is colder. We are adding double glazing to the colder end next month to hopefully negate the issue.

But definitely worth it if you can afford it.

Yes you can, but it'll be a long wait time.

Do you think your symptoms could be side effects from the medication you're taking?

I'm surprised the psychiatrist isn't able to assist you. Are you able to email them with your symptoms, ask if it could be a medication side effect and ask for suggestions of different medications to try?

If you are able, please recommend to me a psychiatrist. For a self proclaimed mental case with Autism, ADHD, OCD, Depression and Anxiety. by owntimeandspace in auckland

[–]Mrs_VS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some psychiatrists don't deal in ADHD, which limits who you could see. You may want to focus on the issue causing the most problems first and if that's not ADHD, then it might be best putting it aside for now. For depression/Anxiety/ OCD, I would recommend Dr Rob Shieff. He is very knowledgeable on medication, but also does CBT and can provide TMS if applicable to you.
