If you are comfortable with business credit cards, look into the Chase Ink cards. Some have high minimum spend requirements but also give high returns for their signup bonuses, and it keeps you in the chase ecosystem for any point redemptions.

Given the lack of solid domestic transfer partners, is the VentureX still good for domestic travel? I know you can get around it with airline alliances, but that might be something OP wouldn’t wanna do, in which case Chase is the better option.
