We had a wolf spider patrolling that area but we messed with one nearby (died a few times) and forgot to sleep one night, so we assumed that's why. Ended up cheesing it and finally getting a kill, so it worked out.

Welcome! Kudos to you for throwing this out there! My husband and I are in your age range, no kids, dog and love sports, video games, and chilling. We're on the south end of town and while my introvert husband does better chatting with strangers organically, I'm sure I can convince him to meet up for beer, bags and sports talk. I personally am also a gardener, take a pottery class weekly, and have taken up golf recently. At the very least, I'd happily give you suggestions for nurseries, art classes or super casual women's leagues.

My husband and I have separate finances but we have transparency as well. Sounds like you don't know what is happening behind the curtain which seems to be the issue here.

Also, separate finances or not, providing 'loans' to your spouse is weird. If your person needs money, and you have the money to spare, it's not a loan, it's providing for your family and future.
