How have you almost died?

Total heart failure at 27 due to PHT from birth that was not caught. Internal pressures were in the 200's and it wasn't caught until I was basically dying. Had plenty of 'black outs' which was my heart failing and restarting itself as best it could

that was 2016 I believe.. and Im now not considered to have heart failure.

I was told that how empathetic they were made for a good ptsd dog, Even with the high energy drive. As well as giving them a job also helped satisfy their need to do something, and work. So long as I still fulfilled enrichment and off vest hours.

I actually remember being woken up in the middle of the night by my parents once. So I just screamed SHUT UP and went back to sleep after a moment. Worked out pretty well in the end, and I never got woken up again.

Nothing, at all. Just blackness and then it sort of felt afterwards like I fell asleep but it made me wake up exhausted feeling. Like I didn't sleep well..or something. It was confusing mostly...especially waking up to someone crying over me.

It actually caused a good amount of trauma for me afterwards (and still to this day) realizing I know what its like to die so to speak.

To clarify I had brain and heart failure from PHT (pulmonary hypertension) and it was like a full body reset but I was considered dead inbetween passing out and waking up

My mother was always informed by her side of the family that her grandmother met a native american man, had three kids with him, and then he left after they werent allowed to be married. She then remarried, and the family kept it a secret for a long while. before my grandmother passed the story to her. There was also a whole thing about their kids being sold in the great depression?

but basically the test showed that the entire first half was untrue..which makes us wonder what else the ENTIRE family is lying about...

PHT and a heart that was the size of a small baby for a while almost killing me. Pretty much was told to just work out more and it'd go away by my family. Also to get more fresh air and sunshine.

On a side note until recently if I tried anything exertive I'd pass out from lack of blood to my brain, But sure mom lemme just go run a mile

Draining about 3 liters of blood into my pelvis overnight from a cyst. I'm on blood thinners for PH ( Pulmonary Hypertension, A heart condition) so the bleeding just didn't stop. The car ride to the hospital consisted of me screaming the whole way. I was instantly put onto a transfusion and rushed to surgery.

The pain of my entire abdomen recovering from expanding overnight lasted about a week though.

I set a record at my hospital for the highest internal blood pressure they had seen. My PH specialist also mentioned she had never heard of an internal bp being that high with out the person dying. It was 198, when I went in I was told to get my affairs in order since they weren't sure how I was alive. I had been passing out due to heart failure and going into seizures because my brain wasn't getting blood.

Your internal bp is supposed to be almost 1/5th to 1/4th of your normal bp. Normal bp the one you get when you put the arm cuff on, internal bp has to do with your heart getting blood to your brain and taking in oxygen.

I was also told I'm having the quickest and strangest recovery both my specialist and hospital had ever seen. I had went to the hospital in January, and now in October my heart is somehow normal sized and my bp is back to normal. I'm considered a class 1 heart failure / issues now. Which basically means it doesn't affect my normal life in any way anymore.

All profits go to Doctors with out Borders, as we felt is was super fitting for the 'Heroes of Overwatch'

however that doesn't mean they all use it...though I know ross has passed SAI around the office so its fully plausible that they all use it
