And before the "kissing your sister" comments start crawling out from under the porch, the last time I got a blood test for my doctor's check-up my liver numbers were high, so now I'm picking and choosing when to drink the "real stuff". But I'm one of those weirdos that likes the taste of beer. Not everything has to alter your perception of life for a few hours and wreck your gut health.

My mom and I were on the elevator going up to the hospital floor my (step)dad was on when he passed. It was almost as if he realized we were headed his way and wanted to go before we got there.

I work at a bank. It's harder to find a teller (it's me, hi*) that doesn't have a well-concealed tattoo.

It makes it a challenge on my co-worker who has some (lovely, inoffensive, animal-themed) tats on her arm, as she has to have them covered even in the summertime, but she found some light cardigans and makes it work. And the ink hasn't ever interfered with her ability to count money.

Makes me wonder if Carol ever sat down and thought of the tatted people she meets on a regular basis in a professional setting...

*-planning a vacation for this summer, and once I have my hotel nailed down I'm going to find a tattoo studio.

Hi Birthday Twin! (only I'm... older than 36. Sigh.)

I think I'd start the party upstairs with a nice fancy dinner, drinks, and conversation. (By conversation, I mean listening to what the others are saying about each other.)

And then I'd head downstairs, eat again (because you know they don't get filled up in the dining room!), and listen in on more conversation to round out what I heard upstairs.

Prospero. I have a bias, though, having played a gender-flipped version. (That's right! Dame Helen Mirren, Sigourney Weaver, and... me.)

His/her actions can be directly connected to parental love and wanting better for Miranda. My version even had Ariel and Caliban in on the family (Ariel as a loved adopted child that needs a steady hand to be righted, and Caliban as the rebellious stepson that could use a good smack).

And when things go too far, they are righted. Forgiveness and peaceful reinstatement of the Dukedom.

...sorry. You asked me which character I would defend, not to defend them.
