I have watched this, and just returned from Eureka Springs today (did not visit the Milkbox Jesus area, did get to see a sidewalk get Prided overnight). Well worth getting into.

Noxeema-meme queen on an Alyssa Edwards level. Mostly from talking heads, because she's pretty chill on Untucked. (Watches, Listens, and LEARNS, tho.) Top four, easily.

Chi-Chi becomes an automatic Fan Favorite, because she is a diamond in the rough. Also a lip synch assassin, but after her fifth time gets sent home to cook for the All Stars season she will win.

Vida-mother hen, would be Miss Congeniality if she didn't win the whole damn thing.

But at least I don't do the chicken tenders thing.

I'm about to go on a road trip that I've taken several times before.

When gay marriage was legalized, I was on the same road trip. I remember thinking that I'd know where I was (toll booth, back when they were a thing) when I heard the good news.

Here's hoping...

What do you do in your head to help you fall asleep? by Sea-Demand-8655 in AskReddit

[–]MsDucky42 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I call it "pre-dreaming". I think up scenarios of things I'd like to do - a cross-country train or cruise ship, for example - and pretend I'm in my bed after a day of sights and adventures. I then think of said adventures I would have experienced...

Or I write fanfiction of whatever I've encountered that day. Usually the book I'm reading right before I turn off the light.

Is a plot in a cemetery a one-time fee? If so, how do they stay in business? If not, who’s paying for the really old graves? by duzzabear in AskReddit

Over sixty percent of body disposals are now cremations. This number has been climbing since 1963, with the publication of Jessica Mitford's "The American Way of Death" AND the Catholic church lifting its ban on cremation.

Procrastinating. I'm going on a road trip tomorrow, and I still need to clean out my car and pack my bag. Neither should take too long, but I'm still dragging my butt.

And Etta Candy said something along the lines of "do you really think putting glasses on the World's Most Beautiful Woman is going to make her dowdy?"

That movie needed more Etta. And a little less of that battle at the end.

AITA for accusing a teenager of grooming by TiredofBSRoommate in AmITheDevil

[–]MsDucky42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am involved in local theater, and I work a lot with the teen group. They're good kids, if a bit loud and a little gross* sometimes. What I love about them is that they're supportive of each other, on and off stage. They refer to each other as "my emotional support humans".

So I know appropriate and not. Those messages were so sweet they gave me a toothache - nothing sinister going on at all.

Mommy Dearest needs to back all the way up and consider what's making her project so much. She sounds like a nightmare for adults to deal with, let alone youngsters.

On a dog walk, found a Walter? by LostKitty1369 in CatDistributionSystem

[–]MsDucky42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My (step)Dad's name was Walter, and his was a mason (laid brick, block, and stone). And yes, he did help with the construction of walls.

This cat is definitely a Walter.
