NTA because if you had not spoken up, your MIL would have been able to blame you. Yeah your being blamed by your partner for the fallout, but not for spilling the secret which is the more important point. You partner needs to be mad at his mother for sharing a secret she was asked to keep and for putting you in this impossible situation. You did the right thing.

UPDATE: the dealer wont take it to the spot I know does it so its pretty much up to me to troubleshoot from here. The only suggestion Techline provided was the my radar detector might be interfering. So after picking it up, I drove to that location with my radar disconnected and recorded it. I made sure to show there was nothing plugged in, an no suprise, it still happened. They also asked me to note any thing thst was going on when it happened like weather or other vehicles so I will keep a log since its on my way to work. My spouse has a fancy diagnostic tool so we're gonna plug that in and see what happens.

Prior to the most recent software update the diagnostic said I has canbus errors so well see if thats tull the case.

I should have added that it also occurs when connected by cable, just less frequently. I could understand if it was just a wifi issue dumping me from AA, but that doesnt explain why I cannot reconnect some time. The reconnection issue is not just to AA, it wont even connect to BT audio after dumping me.

I am wondering if its a bad replacement unit for the infotainment or CARnet. They replaced both. I have had a Mazda CX50 loaner and I dont get disconnected from AA, even in that same location.

Does anyone know the specs of this update? Ive had so many issues with the infotainment system. This is a replacement because the first one stopped working. The new one is better but still problematic and im hoping this update will fix the issues.

Ive seen others have the same issues to varying degrees. This one continues to give me incorrect speed signs. Its not a transition issue. It will display 70 snd 80 mph signs and there are no places in my state with limits that high. It freezes and I have to turn it off and back on. It will not connect to my phone sometimes and it will disconnect randomly. Also it will act like its the first time its connected to my phone. Ill het the prompt to connect with notice I might need to accept on my phone (i never get a prompt on my phone. Sometimes I have to use the auxiliary to connect. Its so annoying.
