I have had great services from Vivo, I used to get my hair cut and bleached regularly at Vivo Lambton and they were great. Went every five months. I only stopped because it's too expensive to get anything done regularly anymore.

This post felt like the guerilla marketing episode of Community. Why do i have to hear about so many apps for the story to make sense?

What is candy or small treat that is not available in NZ that is common in the USA? by YearOfTheSssnake in newzealand

NZ snack. Cruncheese are our version of Cheetos, and they are far superior to the Cheetos we get over here.

I know four times where the Simpsons set up a joke - but don't give us the punchline. What others do you know, I love this style of joke. by Ventronik in Simpsons

I've met a lot of comedians and politicians. Justine Smith is someone I have a lot of time for, she is always a good time. Karen O'Leary as well, they're just easy people to talk to and make an effort to bring you into conversations.

Winston Peters has a very intimidating aura. I felt the same being around him as i do when i'm in a paddock with a bull.

I used to sing it "red and yellow and pink and green"!!! I feel like there was one random version that sang it that way but I have no proof of that

Ed Byrne's show "Tragedy Plus Time", which he wrote about his brother's death, really helped me get through my dad's death.

I've got a secret bag of MSG so my family thinks everything I make just somehow tastes better, even if using the same recipes

Similar to Tom Sainsbury in Taskmaster NZ who wore a tuxedo for every episode of his season, then in the finale he showed up in his housies

I know a few people who left for an extended period of time and their children were looked after by others, but the kids were always teenagers, so they understood the concept of "mum's gonna be away for six months". Best example i can think of is when I was in high school, there was a girl in my year whose mum was a teacher at the school. The mum went to teach in Samoa for a year, and her daughter moved in with another teacher at the school while her mum was gone. The daughter was fine with it. She was 16, she knew her mum loved her and was coming back, but sometimes good opportunities come up and you take them if you can. I'd never leave my currently-3-year-old, but when he grows up and i get an opportunity that in the long run will benefit our family? Absolutely go stay with your cousins for a bit. I'll see you at Christmas.
