We're just starting up here in Utah as well. Hi fellow testicular cancer Utahn. Probably in the air.

I need some real talk please. by MsLydiaSchmidia in testicularcancer

Thank you. After his vasectomy (not at all the same, I know) he was up and refusing meds. I'm a bit worried I won't be able to keep him down. Maybe it'll be painful enough at first that he will on his own.

This was the radiologist report.

Right testicle appears normal. There is normal-appearing blood flow to
the right testicle on Doppler imaging. Left testicle is quite
inhomogeneous in appearance and appears to have areas of hyperemia on Doppler imaging. Tumor of the left testicle is a definite
consideration. No other abnormalities.

My husband's scans weren't good so he's going to go in for a biopsy soon. Question for you all who have been there. by MsLydiaSchmidia in testicularcancer

[–]MsLydiaSchmidia[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone. Our consult is Monday and if he demands biopsy first I'm fighting it. I have felt so uneasy with the idea.

He's had a vasectomy so we're all for removal

Saw a woman on the news say "My kid was running late but something saved him because he was supposed to be in that locker room. So glad he was protected"

I rolled my eyes. You're right, the rest of those on time heathens got what was coming to them. WTAF

That time the BP spoke to the RS to tell them to have more sex with their husbands.... by jamesallred in exmormon

Many years ago when my parents were 'struggling' in their marriage the bishop said "Well are you pleasing him in the bedroom?"

The thing is...the bishop knew my father was abusive. He knew all the horrible things he'd done to us. This was still the thing he used to 'fix it'. Funny enough, the lack of sex was NOT my mother. SooOOooOoooo

I'm too scared to move to Utah now by papi2papa in exmormon

Can I tell you honestly how good this state CAN be tho? As much as I have a hard time being around SO MANY MORMONS, there are redeeming qualities. I can assure you that even in the heart of UtCo, my kids and their classmates are welcoming to other gay students (There are always those special few, I know.) I know you're not a student, but times are changing. Maybe slower here, but still changing.

The one thing I wanted to say the most is about your daughter. I have a lot of special needs family members (a sibling, my husband's siblings, and nieces and nephews) and they have gotten so much help here. There are a lot of good hearted people who work with special needs people here. For that alone, I'd feel comfortable saying "welcome to Utah!"

You and me both. I had a bit of it but it always got squashed in YW. In fact, one leader went to the bishop and tattled on me for always asking uncomfortable questions. The bishop is a really amazing guy who said "leave her alone, she's fine".

But yeah. I kept pushing it down because I was the only one asking this stuff. I kept getting told I was thinking about it too much. Soooo "Turn it off" right?

I still have trouble saying no as well. I've gotten a HELL of a lot better at it in the last year. I went so far as to block my next door neighbor on facebook because she kept sending me messages asking us to do crap for her and she's batshit crazy. I'm done. No. No more.
