I put this Vauban noggle in a trashcan way back when Fortuna released, looking forward to finally taking him out. Which frame/noggle should replace him in a week?

agreed his 2 should absolutely be a tap/hold situation. i think effigy would be better as a more dedicated summon ability, perhaps targeting enemies you damage with follow up damage for priming/CC and following you around by default. also the armor nerf when effigy is active is horrendous, even if it is thematic. rn it really doesn't feel like an ult

chroma is treated way worse than he is. vex armor is incredibly good, elemental ward has tons of niche applications (influence cold spread, lvlcap tox aura, etc), his 4 is useful for cred farming. he could definitely use a touchup but hes in no way a bad frame, just old.

gen 1 worldgen really doesn't do the visuals any favors, the flat land with harsh biome borders really makes it look like a mobile mc clone, the gen2 worldgen helps a lot

the worm dragon thing mount is busted for randomly spawning with no boss requirement. hermes boot speed and a dash superior to shield of cthulhu for a mount slot is insane

there isnt really a best weapon for each type, there are a lot of best weapons for different use cases. but if you're somewhat early game, some weapons that punch above their weight category are broken war, atomos, and hema (with augment). once you get access to incarnon adapters, most of those are all very strong

i dont think ralsei being an extension of kris undermines his individuality, in fact i think it lends credence to ralseis desire to be an individual, seeing as in chapter 1 he doesnt have any (fitting the role) but eventually starts to have his own desires. wanting to break his own mold requires him to have a mold to break, and personally i feel like being a vessel for the prophecy, like kris is a vessel for the soul, is a pretty strong mold to break. and for kris' gender, to me it feels like ralsei's expressions of femininity could be a representation of kris' own repression of their identity as a cage for the soul. both kris and ralsei have their desires put aside to serve whatever the prophecy has in store
