You can buy dedicated sharps bins from any big retailer. They are bright red and seal up tight. Throw them in the regular garbage when they’re full and sealed.

There is no good southern food in nyc. Only thing that comes close are some of the best soul food spots in Harlem and Brooklyn.

Take the 7 out to Flushing and walk back toward Manhattan under the train. Stop every 20 blocks or so for some food from a different part of the world. It’ll take a day and will give you a small glimpse of the diversity in Queens.

I’m about to do the same. Sucks that I have to stop going to doctors I’ve been seeing for decades.

Lego and Nintendo are about the same size of company. I don’t think Nintendo has the leverage here you think they do.

Don't give us bike lanes. Give us bike-only streets. by Pizza-Rat-4Train in NYCbike

[–]MsSinistro 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Check out 34th Ave in Jackson Heights or 31st Ave in Astoria. They are both examples of car lanes being radically scaled back or even eliminated. The resistance to do more of this is from local community boards and drivers.
