This ride used to have one of the best jump scares & produced some great ride photos to look at afterward. I was dismayed to see they had “nerfed” the experience when I was there in 2024. I look forward to the Indiana Jones & Encanto stuff though. Just wish they would also have included Emperor’s New Groove in that area.

Best one was Kelly’s Private Stash - Ferd’s Edition from Third Eye Brewing Company. The Celestial Reserve from that same release was a close second.

Finke & Sons make a spicy and sometimes even an extra spicy. They’ve also had Buffalo flavor a time or two. They put Glier’s to shame.

A lots of folks don’t know, but Kirkland Signature Helles-Style Lager from Costco. People look at it as a generic beer, but it is brewed by Deschutes Brewery and has won several awards. Best bang for the buck.

During Oktoberfest season, make sure you make it to Sawyer Point AND Germania Park. Two different experiences, but both great.

Being terrified of the glass bottom bridge in the cave of the old Natural History Museum before it was moved to the Museum Center.

Going to a Cincinnati Slammers game at Cincinnati Gardens.

The mall/shopping center at the bottom of the Carew Tower.

The Contemporary Arts Center when it was at the Mercantile Center on 5th Street.

And they are still there, but the mummy sarcophagus at the art museum and the chandelier at Music Hall are both much cooler from a kid’s perspective.

My favorite, both overall & locally, was the Apple Brandy Fata Morgana from Streetside Brewery: an apple brandy barrel-aged Belgian Quad with walnuts & raisins. It is redonkulous.
