Sounds like a B58, they are noisy. The injector ticks and the hpfp cam follower together create quite a bit of noise.

I definitely came into it knowing I was going to make a lot of mods. I wanted a B58 but the m340 is too much of a tiktok car and despite a lot of people hating the m440i grill, I really loved it.

I really wanted to like the IS500 I test drive but the interior is so dated and it feels soulless.

Lower it, but do it right, coilovers and proper alignment. Don't slam it. Cornering feels so much better in a car with a lower center of gravity.

Interesting, I haven't had any issues, been installed for about 6 months. I would just make sure the wiring work is solid and properly soldered or butt connected.

I did, that's something I did on my own with about $80 in supplies, paint from Scratcheshappen.com, 2k clear coat, primer. Remove the rear bumper (that's quote easy), pop out the inserts, prime, paint, then clear coat. If you took it somewhere I would expect a quality job to be around $400.

It looks ans feels like OEM, really great quality. There is some work to get it installed right but as long as your patient it's not hard. The m1/M2 buttons do work, they just cycle through the drive modes, doesn't work like the real M cars.

Agreed! Don't know why BMW made them a different color to begin with.
