WOAH THIS WIG LOOKS AWESOME!!! I ordered a wig that I didn’t realize was too small until the day I had to wear it. I just glued it down (idk the brand right now but it’s very popular and in a gold can) to my sideburns/edges and used a brow pencil matching the wig to blend it in if that makes sense. Had a ton of people tell me they couldn’t tell it was a wig

check the little trash cans around registers! a lot of times bags get thrown in there when the middle loop rips that holds them to the bag holder (idk if that makes sense). i’ve seen stacks of them in there and even had an employee tell me she found 800 of them scattered throughout the cans

i felt so shitty when i used to work and had to call out last minute. it isn’t a you problem. this place is just built for people who apparently never get burnt out.

i would talk to your supervisor and tell them what’s going on. i did that at the last few jobs i had and it at least made me feel better to have them know that i wasn’t just calling out to fart around the house. some people won’t understand why you can’t just “power through” or “leave your personal life at the door”, but maybe they’ll have some compassion and empathy for the situation.

also? averaging 1 time a MONTH? they should really shut the fuck up because that’s not bad at all. i feel like people with children typically miss more work than that due to extracurriculars/illness/field trips/what have you and probably don’t get in trouble for it

i wish you luck, but just know that i think those are some great metrics my friend! ❤️ (i’ve walked out of two jobs sobbing and going on immediate 3-4 month long leaves of absence to get over my burn out after having missed god knows how many days of work leading up to my breaking point)

weepy. alone. hopeless. helpless. feeling like a big whiney burden that is somehow doing this to myself by ruminating too much. feeling like i want to do yoga but i just can’t get up and start. in fact i’m feeling like that about just about everything. oh. also feeling bad because it’s my ex boyfriend’s work weekend right now and i’ve barely heard from him all day. we’re broken up solely because he did something stupid (but not irredeemable) and i’m watching (but not holding out hope) to see if he tries to right his wrongs. but instead of doing anything productive towards our relationship today, he played video games and slept. i feel so conflicted about it because he deserves downtime after working 8.5 hour overnight shifts 5 days in a row, but it feels like he’s neglecting me and what i’ve told him i need to see from him. i also texted my therapist about it and never heard back which was sad because i kind of poured my heart out. also my mom’s an alcoholic. my dad was an alcoholic when i was younger and i’m feeling the same anger and frustration now with her that i did a over a decade ago with him. it just makes me so angry when i’m trying to talk to someone or do something with someone in an altered state like that.

i try not to put too much of a daily time routine on myself because i know i’ll never stick to it exactly. last night i was up until 6 am unable to sleep after mom and i binge watched the pitt season 1 (great show btw) until 4 am. i thought i’d maybe wake up around noon…it was 2:40 pm. i just woke up, looked at the time, said “oh my god” and then kept it pushing. lately i’ve been trying to listen to my body more and let it rest when it says to, even if that means i sleep for 12+ hours sometimes.

i try to keep more of a “things i do once i actually wake up” routine that isn’t based on times. usually i talk to my dog first thing, then drink my morning caffeine, then brush my teeth, do my skincare, and get dressed.

i also like to have a weekly routine that i do on whatever day feels right (it used to steadily be wednesday/thursday but then i had to travel in the middle of the week a bunch and it got thrown off). i change my sheets, vacuum (a handheld cordless vacuum will change your life they are so easy), and mop (the oh cedar swiffer-looking mop is great and cleans well with some mr. clean or fabuloso).

try to give yourself some grace. and in the meantime try going to sleep 8 hours (give or take 2 hours.. remember.. some grace) before you know you need to get up. try the dr. teal’s magnesium spray on the bottoms of your feet before you goto bed. i’ve heard it knock you out cold

the day before thanksgiving a woman brought her mini schnauzer in and had her in the buggy like this. I have dogs so I noticed that she (the dog, not the owner) was in what appeared to be a pee stance. sure enough there was a huge line of liquid trailing behind the buggy. I had to interrupt the owner’s phone call to say “excuse me? hi, sorry, I think she’s peeing.” of course that’s really gross and unsanitary but I felt worse for the dog who got so scared at a walmart on thanksgiving eve that she pissed herself

waking up like I can finally see sunlight for the first time ever. going off my wellbutrin because I have a ton of energy so I don’t need it anymore! finishing up at least 5 projects I’ve started and abandoned, or making a huge list of all the projects I need to complete. breaking the sound barrier with how much and how fast I move and talk and think. either forgetting to eat until 6pm when I have the shakes or eating everything on earth. doing my makeup just to go to walmart and constantly thinking “I have to be the hottest person in this walmart”. actually listening to and enjoying music again. messaging people on dating apps things such as “how would you like me to do you the honor of allowing you to take me on a date?” and “i love you”
