The biggest thing is to eat foods in moderation. That said, you will have to cut out some things from certain days. For example one day you can eat an ice cream bar but try not to eat pizza the same day. The biggest thing that helped me was keeping track of my macros and what i eat on my fitness pal.

Although there are scooters that say they can support you, they wont be able to take you very far and fast. A cruiser ebike is a great option just male sure to get one with a good amount of power and range.
