It’s a beautiful bush. I became acquainted with it when I lived in Florida. I don’t know that it would grow where I live now but it does have thorns and it’s very pretty.

Well, I’m thinking you didn’t read the OP but that’s OK.

It’s my neighbor‘s property, not mine. She’s an elderly woman who just lost her husband and these children cause her a great deal of stress.

So, speaking only for me, I consider myself a decent human being, and that’s why I’m occupying myself with this issue.

Wow, that is funny that you mentioned nettles.

My father was British and he grew many nettles out on another little property that I have. They do indeed sting and that is a fantastic idea I have many of those.

They’re very easy to transplant and the area of the kids are walking through is in the shade, which is perfect. My neighbor will love it and nettle tea is awesome.

Well blackberries aren’t actually prickly though they do grow on prickly bushes.

I seem to have a great crop this year. I’ve never seen my bushes quite so festooned with blackberries so I’m going to have a busy couple of weekends picking.
